Tim Robbins: ‘Orwellian’ COVID Rules
Based on Politics, Not Science

Original Article

Tim Robbins fell for the media’s COVID-19 narratives hook, line and sinker. But not for long. The actor/director came out earlier this year against vaccine mandates for his fellow thespians, understanding it made little sense given what we’ve learned about the medication. The jab doesn’t stop the spread, nor does it prevent the recipient from getting the virus. Now, he’s taken that learning curve public, courtesy of Russell Brand’s 6+ million YouTube subscribers.

Comments:

I find this very heartening...we are going to need more Tim Robbins, who are well-known liberals, to not only see the light but be willing to take a public stance. He didn't let his lying eyes deceive him...I'll stand behind anybody who is on the side of truth.

Better late than never, but we remember Parker and Stone's marionette show. (from Team America World Police) Tim Robbins: "Let me explain to you how this works: you see, the corporations finance Team America, and then Team America goes out... and the corporations sit there in their... in their corporation buildings, and... and, and see, they're all corporation-y... and they make money. Mmm-hmm."

#1 -- He admits that he trusted "the experts" until he went to England and saw throngs of people defying the establishment...he thought it would end with thousands and thousands of dead people because they would all get sick and die. When that didn't happen, he realized he had been "had" and started changing course. I applaud him for being a liberal in Hollywood that (a) saw the light, (b) changed course and (c) is now willing to take a public stance to defend the truth. We truly need more like him.

I wonder if this will by any chance cause him to re-think the many other positions he holds because "experts" told him that was the right side to be on? I doubt it.

In the back of his mind, he has to start questioning other liberal issues. Whether he opens up about them or not may take time. Any grain of truth and sensibility that gets through to them is a plus.

The 2022 elections should have been a wake-up call for Georgia Democrats after they lost eight of nine statewide races in November and saw the defeat of some of the party’s biggest, brightest stars. With the notable exception of U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock, Democrats lost by larger margins in 2022 than they did in 2018, but with more money, stronger candidates, and a growing Georgia population that is younger, more diverse, and more closely aligned with their politics.

As Congresswoman Liz Cheney was being decisively repudiated by the voters of Wyoming (66 percent to 29 percent is a repudiation), her smug Eastern establishment certainty of moral virtue remained intact. However, in describing her situation with the words of Abraham Lincoln, she skewed the historic record. If Lincoln had only garnered 29 percent support in his 1858 U.S. Senate race against Stephen Douglas, he would never have been president.

Chief Justice John Roberts issued a concurring judgment in the Supreme Court ruling Friday morning that revokes a woman's constitutional right to an abortion. Roberts explicitly sided with his conservative colleagues in their majority opinion to uphold Mississippi's ban on abortions following 15 weeks of pregnancy. However, in his concurring opinion, he expressed a difference in opinion with his colleagues on the matter of overturning the court's decades-old decision in Roe v. Wade, which gives women the constitutional right to abortion.

If you are a conservative voter in America today at some point you have to realize you have no representation in the US Senate. Mitch McConnell has a 33 percent approval rating, the lowest in the US Senate and yet he was reelected as GOP Leader with 37 votes to 10 votes for Senator Scott. The Senate Republicans REALLY, really hate their base. The bill gives another $44.9 billion to Ukraine — where it disappears into the ether. The bill also makes it impossible for Americans to challenge a stolen election.

In a press conference on Tuesday afternoon in the U.S. Capitol, Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky was talking about priorities for the United States as lawmakers rush to pass a $1.7 trillion omnibus bill.  According to Leader McConnell — who said he was speaking for "most Republicans" — the "number one priority" for the United States is not any of the pressing domestic issues plaguing Americans as a result of President Joe Biden and his administration. No, McConnell said that "providing assistance for Ukrainians to defeat the Russians is the number one priority for the United States right now, according to most Republicans." Really?

Add yet another government overreach to the “Things You Didn’t Think Could Happen in America” file: Democrats on the lame-duck House and Ways and Means Committee voted Tuesday to release six years of former President Donald Trump’s tax returns. Why? Because they um, uh—because they want to? But wait, you say to yourself, that’s not possible; your tax returns are private by federal law, and therefore protected from release. The Dems of course found a sleazy way around that. The tax code allows the committee to look at people’s tax returns to provide “oversight” of the Internal Revenue Service, and by writing an official report on their findings,

The question in the title needs, I believe, critical examination. Why DOES the Left hate Trump so much? The answer, as usual, can largely be found by analyzing history. But first. Do they hate him because the average price of a gallon of gas in his administration was far lower than under Biden? Is it because inflation was low (around 2%) and trending downward? Is it that the USA was energy independent and didn’t need to beg our enemies for oil, deplete our strategic oil reserve or sell it to China? Is it because black and Hispanic unemployment was lower than at any time in history?
