Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg was on vacation in Portugal for a week amid tense negotiations to avert a national rail strike earlier this year, it was revealed on Wednesday. The trip spanned August 29 through the following Monday, Labor Day, a statement by the Department of Transportation to DailyMail.com confirms.  A spokesperson for the department said he was 'traveling on personal time' but remained 'engaged on urgent issues.'  They said the trip had been 'long planned' in advance.  It was reported earlier this week that Buttigieg took at least 18 flights on taxpayer-funded private jets since joining the Cabinet, despite leading calls to cut CO2 emissions.

Par for the course. Pete is like so many progs a lazy and entitled hypocrite. My driving a small car to work is literally killing Mother Earth but people like him can spew out as much CO2 as they want.

This guy is so awful it beggars belief. He was a terrible mayor of the teeming metropolis of South Bend, Indiana, and yet he´s AWOL when it really counts. Can you imagine how destructive a rail strike might have been? Then he mendaciously implies in a video that he was in the United States, "engaged on urgent issues." And the abuse of private jets is completely over the top. Nevertheless, he couldn´t be bothered to jet back to the nation he serves - in a lofty and important role - when a crippling strike looms. BTW, I´m planning a trip for next August. I don´t foresee any problems, but that´s exactly what travel insurance is for, trips that are "long planned in advance" that may have to be cancelled. He pulls down "$221,400 per year as Secretary of Transportation and has a net worth of approximately $250,000." I have no doubt he doesn´t bother to save in anticipation of a lavish government pension. It´s disgraceful that we learn about so many of these scandals from the British Daily Mail Online. Where are America´s journalists? Covering Pete´s all-important vacation in Portugal?

Allow me to offer a few disconnected thoughts about Peter the Pervert. Peter is Transportation Secretary, so travel is good for him! Peter is a male homosexual, married to a man. Louis Brandeis was the first Jew on the U.S. Supreme Court, and the first nominee to undergo public confirmation hearings. hen Brabdeis left the court, his seat became referred to as the Jewish seat in the Court. Will Peter the Pervert's service as Transportion Secretary create a pervert seat in the cabinet? And if so, what kind of pervert? And what about the Tranny nanny who has been appointed by Dementia Jo as some sort of admiral? How about the luggage stealing sexually baffled thing? What would Gilbert and Sullivan do with this stuff?

Do you get it? Democrats want the prestigious positions but they do not want to do the work. They are self-centered sloths who are simply incompetent when it comes to problem solving. Add to that the fact that they do not care to find solutions, and you have the mindset of these fools who would rather play than work. That Bankman-Fried kid is a perfect example of who they are. They reject the importance of work ethic which is evident when they come up with “quiet quitting” and such absurdities. While driving around my community I see “Hiring” signs all over and not just in fast food places. There are good jobs out there to be had. People just don’t want to work. Why should they when big daddy government is there to bail them out. I guess I am just old and cranky but at least I had the good sense and upbringing to understand the value of hard work. Little Petey is a disgraceful lollygagging parasite who should never be in the position he holds. He is irresponsible and incompetent, but the biggest reason is that he is a democrat. When have they ever accomplished one good thing for this country? Just give me one example.

As this country's - Transportation Secretary - wasn't Buttigieg AWOL during the shipping crisis awhile back when ships were coming into ports but were not being unloaded? People should be hired on the basis of merit, not whether their hiring can check some particular box.

Please realize that like Biden and Kamala, Pete Butt is not a decision maker within Transportation. Rather he is there for two purposes: To use his open homosexuality as a shield against criticism of the Department’s leftist agenda; and to degrade our country by promoting a perverse lifestyle. The same is true for the transsexual who is the #2 at HHS, Richard/Rachel Levine. Now Admiral Levine. Same for the just fired Energy thief and freak as well as Biden’s lesbian immigrant serving as his press Secretary . Just as Mittens Romney had “folders of competent woman”, the out of sight handlers of Biden have folders with the names and photos of the most perverse and generally least competent freaks imaginable. So far, this policy has evaded all criticism and it will continue.

There is a bright side to this story: at least by being out of the country for that critical week, Mayor Pete could not make the situation any worse....which would almost certainly have been the case had he been present, given his complete and total lack of experience in any having to do with the duties of his office. Like Biden's other cabinet secretaries, Mayor Pete has never held a job related to the field over which Biden put him in charge. No wonder the govt is such a mess.

Just a related point of clarification: How many times have we heard that the issue is "sick time?" Just as I have implemented in my place of business, there was a policy change from a number paid vacation days and paid sick days and that was changed to the same number of total days but all in one bucket called paid time off or PTO. They have their damned sick days it's all word games. Now they want additional sick days on top of PTO that includes what were once their sick days. The reason I favor the PTO single category, the old sick day policy favored those willing to lie and take the days regardless of health. In managing productive output those are surprises you can't plan around and PTO gives you less surprise days off since the motive to call in on the day yiou are taking is reduced. I have never in my entire life lied about being sick to get out of work. I also don't generally get sick (had a 30+ year streak going before COVID) , so for decades of my working life I got about a week less play time than those willing to call in pretending to be sick.

My gut feeling is that President Trump -if the election had not been stolen from him- would have worked out an agreement that was suitable to everyone.

In the sixth installment of the Twitter Files, journalist Matt Taibbi revealed that Twitter had a “one-big-happy-family” partnership with the FBI to censor content on its platform. Taibbi released the sixth installment of the Twitter Files document dump, which he dubbed “TWITTER, THE FBI SUBSIDIARY.” (Tweet) "The #TwitterFiles show something new: agencies like the FBI and DHS regularly sending social media content to Twitter through multiple entry points, pre-flagged for moderation,” Taibbi wrote. For example, Taibbi revealed that former Twitter Trust and Safety chief Yoel Roth exchanged “over 150 emails” with the FBI between January 2020 to November 2022.

The FBI has refused to say how many social media companies it works with, defending their actions after it emerged that agents from the bureau regularly met with Twitter executives and handed over lists of accounts they found questionable. Officials from the bureau even asked for Twitter to hand over the locations from where the Twitter accounts were being operated, in a disturbing move that many saw as an attack on the First Amendment. One user targeted by the FBI, who goes by @Lexitollah, said: 'Seems like prima facie 1A violation.' Don’t let anyone tell you the border isn’t a disaster. Mayor Eric Adams has asked FEMA for $1 billion to cope with the consequences of the Biden administration’s refusal to enforce the border. FEMA’s responsibilities include dealing with wildfires, floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, and now, another kind of disaster: an open border. And it’s about to get worse. This Wednesday, December 21, something called Title 42 is supposed to end (though a judge may keep it going a little longer). The program was a holdover from the COVID pandemic and allows Border Patrol agents to bounce illegal border-jumpers back into Mexico without getting a hearing or making an asylum claim.

That's another trick man, because that money's gonna go right back to Cadillac and right back to [Mercedes] Benz.'  The chair of the task force handling the reparations issue, Kamilah V. Moore, said in an interview Tuesday that the $223,000 figure being reported was not simply

Speculation about the circumstances and motivations behind the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy, rife at the time the tragedy occurred, has never stopped. While Kennedy’s murderer was declared soon after the assassination to have worked alone, one insider claimed to Fox News host Tucker Carlson that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was directly involved with JFK’s assassination. Carlson noted that questions about the Kennedy assassination have been circulating since it happened, simply because there were a lot of details that didn’t add up or seemed too coincidental. "This would be the greatest regulatory overreach in American maritime law" — that’s how Frank Hugelmeyer describes a proposal by the Biden administration to limit the speed of all motorboats over 35 feet from Florida to Massachusetts. "Not only are they creating a serious safety issue, they are creating a massive negative economic impact." Hugelmeyer is president of the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), and he is just one of a growing number of voices expressing outrage over the proposal put forward by the U.S. Commerce Department under the auspices of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). "It’s stupid," said Jeff Angers, the president of the Center for Sportfishing Policy.

The former White House Chief Strategist said Thursday: 'I can't do this anymore. He's one of the greatest presidents in history, but I gotta tell you: whoever – what business partner and anybody on the comms team and anybody at Mar-a-Lago – and I love the folks down there – but we're at war. They oughta be fired today.'

Miami, Florida — Former President Donald Trump told the conservatives currently withholding support from House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy in McCarthy’s speakership bid to stand down in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News here on Friday. “I like him,” Trump said of McCarthy, before teeing off on those working against him such as Reps. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Matt Rosendale (R-MT), Bob Good (R-VA), and Ralph Norman (R-SC). While Trump did not name those trying to stop McCarthy from taking the Speaker’s gavel on January 3, he in no uncertain terms said he disagrees with their efforts—
