Who are Sam Bankman-Fried’s parents?

Like any good parent, Sam Bankman-Fried’s mother and father have stood firmly behind their son from the beginning of his crypto career until his fall from grace, but their staunch support and recent courtroom antics have put them under heavy scrutiny. Joseph Bankman and Barbara Fried, both professors at Stanford University, sat in the third row of Bankman-Fried’s extradition hearing in the Bahamas, where their animated expressions were in full view. Bankman, who received payments from FTX and was heavily involved in the doomed platform’s operations, was seen sporadically plugging his ears throughout the process,

I sure hope these people are bankrupted soon. Their son deserves a very, very long prison sentence, and the California bar association to look into disbarring his parents.

Mayor Eric Adams and his team are worried a steady flow of migrants to New York City will turn into a flood when a Trump-era immigration order ends next week — with the mayor also expressing growing anxiety that neither Gov. Kathy Hochul nor President Biden have offered a helping hand. Top City Hall officials – including Office of Emergency Management Commissioner Zach Iscol, Department of Social Services Commissioner Gary Jenkins and City Hall senior adviser Tiffany Raspberry – held a Zoom conference call where Title 42 came up repeatedly, several sources told The Post.

Outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi won re-election last month for the 18th time last month. She’s been serving in the House since assuming office in June, 1987. But will she continue to serve for another two years, completing the term of the 118th Congress? Don’t ask me. Don’t ask her, either — it’s not a question she wants to answer, apparently. Reporters who didn’t know that, if there were any, found out during a Thursday news conference when someone had the audacity to bring it up. “Will you commit to serving your full two-year term for the people of San Francisco?” a reporter asked. “What is this? What is this?” Pelosi responded.

Elon Musk defended his decision to ban a number of journalists from Twitter Thursday night, arguing they made posts which directly opened up threats to his life. The billionaire said that by tweeting links to an account which tracks the movements of his private jet, they were posting 'assassination coordinates,' and violating Twitter's terms of service. Journalists Ryan Mac of the New York Times, Drew Harwell of The Washington Post, Donie O'Sullivan of CNN, Matt Binder of Mashable, Michah Lee of The Intercept, along with Aaron Rupar, Tony Webster, and Keith Olberman, all found their Twitter accounts suspended on Thursday.

Two antithetical billionaires Before the midterm November elections, Sam Bankman-Fried was a left-wing billionaire heartthrob. He properly grew up on the Stanford campus, where his parents were well-known left-wing activist law professors. He went to a tony prep school and on to MIT. Bankman-Fried mocked society's bourgeois capitalist conventions by dressing and looking like a slob in cut-offs and T-shirts. Indeed, he bested the nose-ring, Charles Manson-esque appearance of former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey. He outdid the all-black, Steve Jobs copy-cat get-up of another fallen leftist icon, the now-convicted felon Elizabeth Holmes of Theranos infamy.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters Thursday that President Joe Biden “has done the work” to secure the southern U.S. border, even as rising numbers of migrants continue to surge across it. Jean-Pierre was answering a question in the White House briefing room about the imminent end of Title 42, the rule that allows U.S. authorities to turn away migrants due to the pandemic emergency. It is one of the only enforcement tools that the Biden administration has retained, after President Biden issued a slew of executive orders upon taking office that rescinded President Donald Trump’s policies, including the border wall project.

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) introduced a bill Wednesday that would prohibit Washington, DC, from using federal funds to allow foreign nationals to vote in the city’s elections after the D.C. City Council approved a plan to permit such voting. Roy’s bill, the House version of a bill introduced by fellow Texan Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), would require D.C. to certify that it does not allow those who are not American citizens to vote before the city could apply for or receive any federal funding, according to a copy of the bill’s text obtained by Breitbart News. In a statement, Roy characterized the D.C. council’s measure as “insane and reckless.”

Some border cities have already been flooded. The Biden administration has pushed Congress to pass a federal budget that will help handle the influx.

The trip spanned August 29 through the following Monday, Labor Day, a statement by the Department of Transportation to DailyMail.com confirms.  A spokesperson for the department said he was 'traveling on personal time' but remained 'engaged on urgent issues.'  They said the trip had been 'long planned' in advance.  It was reported earlier this week that Buttigieg took at least 18 flights on taxpayer-funded private jets since joining the Cabinet, despite leading calls to cut CO2 emissions.

Just how desperate are the Democrats in terms of their weak bench of candidates to replace Joe Biden? Well, they’re desperate enough to actually be talking about Pete Bugttigieg as a potential 2024 nominee and corporate media is fluffing up the theory. Back in 2010, RNC Chair Michael Steele was heavily criticized and eventually lost his position because donors were angry about what they believed was luxurious spending on private jets, floral arrangements, chauffeur services, and member meetings in expensive tropical locales. Donors were used to frugality from the RNC under the George W. Despite Joe Biden’s economy and three straight cycles of election losses, the RNC’s big-spending days are back with a vengeance.

Over the weekend, a massive caravan of more than 5,000 crossed the southern border in what is described as “a stunning surge that shocked immigration agents, neighboring towns, and state officials.” Where will these illegals end up? Most likely, everywhere inside the U.S., courtesy of several non-profit groups that are working with the Biden administration in an under-the-radar mass resettlement effort. An investigation by the Heritage Foundation tracked more than 30,000 cell phones that arrived at Customs and Border Control facilities or dozens of non-profits at or near the southern border in January 2022.
