The New York Times on Monday declared incoming Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman to be one of its 93 “most stylish” people of 2022, prompting backlash against the paper on social media, including by the Democrat’s wife.
“No, not [John Fetterman]!! Recount!!!,” the senator-elect’s wife Gisele Fetterman wrote on Twitter Monday, reacting in disbelief to the accolade.
The news outlet feted Fetterman, whose usual attire on the campaign trail involved a hoodie, basketball shorts, and sneakers, as a lawmaker that “is going to bring Carhartt to the Capitol,” a reference to the US workwear apparel company.

I've seen homeless people dressed better than Fetterman. Heck, I dress better than Fetterman when I go out to mow the grass and mulch flowerbeds.
I predict he will not serve out his term. He does not look well.

OMG! This proclamation says more about the New York Times than Fetterman. Fetterman is a bum, dresses like one, acts like one. The people who ride the garbage truck dress better than him, actually they dress for their job, (no offense to sanitation workers) while he dresses for....hell what does he dress for?

If I was Carhart, I'd distance my brand from Uncle Fester real fast and say Carhart is for real working Americans.

The Girlfriend and I were In Allentown (where they're closing all the factories down) over Thanksgiving. We popped into the local mall on Black Friday, and in one of the department stores there I noticed that the main garment being pushed in the men's department was the hoodie. I thought, gee, they're going all in on the Fettervegetable look here, aren't they! The NYT loses whatever cred they had left by trying to convince us that slobbishness is stylish.

As a guy who never really worked he is a fashion statement and plus he's going to be an actor too. As a Pennsylvania resident, I would prefer someone that would at least work at being a Senator. PA, you're getting what you voted for. Sigh.

This is the same NY Times tht described Chelsea Clinton as beautiful.
And I recall a writer, may have been from the NY Times, the day after the Obama inauguration in 2009, write that she could picture the Obamas having sex, their mutual attraction was so strong.Even Mrs. Lakerman's favorite show,Project Runway, would reject Fetterman's fashion sense.

Well, if you ever take a look at what passes for “style” in women’s fashion magazines and on the runways, this makes perfect sense.

I've seen rodeo clowns that are dressed better than this jackass. Worse is that people actually voted for this person to represent them in government. This shows me that dimocRATS know how to rig an election. IMHO.

For 8 years, the liberal media gushed over how stylish Michele, The Mooch, Obama was. Whereas I thought she got her fashion tips from PT Barnum.
Sooooo I'm not surprised. The fact that no one has taken Bernie Sanders to task for combing his hair with a balloon tells you that grooming and fashion are partisan issues.

As I have said many times before, the NYT is truly not fit to line the bottom of a bird cage! They have always been sketchy but now they are un-American and Marxist!

It's a pretty low bar for Fetterman. Any outfit is a success as long as it conceals the bolts in his neck.
