Former Department of Energy official Sam Brinton no longer works for the department, a spokesperson told the Washington Examiner on Monday, amid allegations that Brinton has been involved in multiple luggage thefts. “Sam Brinton is no longer a DOE employee. By law, the Department of Energy cannot comment further on personnel matters,” the department spokesperson said in an email. Prior to Monday's report, the department claimed that Brinton, who is nonbinary, was placed on leave but refused to comment on whether the leave was paid. It is not clear whether Brinton resigned, or was fired from the department.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) on Tuesday announced his decision to petition Florida’s Supreme Court to impanel a grand jury tasked with investigating any “wrongdoing” related to the vaccines for Chinese coronavirus.
“Today, I’m announcing a petition with the Supreme Court of Florida to impanel a statewide grand jury to investigate any and all wrongdoing in Florida with respect to the COVID-19 vaccines,” DeSantis announced during a “Public Health Integrity Committee” roundtable discussion on Tuesday.
The governor added that they “anticipate that we will get approval for that.”

For years the Left has been able to construct a reality for people. They almost completely controlled what you could see, hear, and by extension think. They owned almost all the cultural means of production, which is an extremely effective tool. Their control was not comprehensive, and some people are natural skeptics, but the Left did a pretty good job of controlling The Narrative™.
Like a movie or a magic show, if you control what is being presented you can manipulate people’s sense of reality.

Testifying before the House Financial Services Committee Tuesday morning, the newly appointed CEO of FTX revealed that he is investigating the role that disgraced founder Sam Bankman-Fried’s parents played in the cryptocurrency exchange’s recent implosion.
CEO John Ray was asked by Republican Representative Bill Huizenga whether Bankman-Fried’s parents, both of whom are professors at Stanford Law School, had advised their son or been employed by his firm in any capacity.
