Trump-Endorsed Arizona Attorney General Nominee Abe Hamadeh filed a lawsuit on Friday, contesting the fraudulent Midterm Election in Arizona. Hamadeh is down by 511 votes out of more than 2.5 million ballots cast in his race, and there is an ongoing recount to determine the winner. The Gateway Pundit reported on Friday that Kari Lake filed a lawsuit to nullify the election for Governor and approve a full audit of signatures and machine failures. It was revealed by a Runbeck whistleblower in Lake’s filing that hundreds of thousands of ballots did not have any chain of custody documentation.

Maybe some courageous people will make a decisive move to demand a re-do of the election so AZ-ians can get some justice. After that, take another hard look at 2020.

It would seem appropriate that if a state election commission fails to conduct an election substantially in compliance with state law, then the election is invalid

Sorry, I remember all the election lawsuit and “Kraken” articles from TGP posted here two years ago, right up until Brandon was installed. Courts didn’t do anything then, they aren’t going to do anything now. We don’t have real elections anymore. Which is unfortunate as elections are the PEACEFUL way to resolve political disagreements.

Impossible to keep an election clean when the collection of ballots keeps happening after counting of votes has started. That practice has got to end.

What good is a recount if the same group that counted the first time counts again?

Two candidates for major state offices are now in the state courts with complaints that include substantial actual facts, not logarithms and statistical anomalies. One other point is that with one (I believe) exception, the Maricopa County Superior court bench, where these suits are filed, is Republican. So, if there is judicial skullduggery...who's to blame?

Hopefully, both lawsuits were filed after their lawyers looked at what the Trump team filed and learned from it.

A justice on the Kansas Supreme Court will no longer serve as an adjunct at the Kansas University Law School due to what he sees as a weak response from the administration when it came to a conservative event. “I write to let you know that…I will not be renewing my teaching relationship with KU Law next fall,” Kansas Supreme Court Justice Caleb Stegall wrote a letter to the dean of the University of Kansas School of Law. Stegall (pictured) had objected to students and administrators’ reactions to a lunch-hour with a lawyer from the Alliance Defending Freedom, sponsored by the student chapter of the Federalist Society.

A few weeks ago, Julie Kelly tweeted that FBI director Christopher Wray has scheduled a “bureau-wide call with all 36,000+ FBI employees” this month. This is without recent precedent and if true, I hope it’s to announce his resignation. He should, of course, because the agency he heads has been engaged in more lawbreaking and unconstitutional conduct than I can easily document in the space allotted me here. I can imagine the blather he’d spout along the lines of resigning to avoid a witch-hunt which would damage the reputation of the agency.

The senior Republicans on the House Administration, Ethics, and Rules Committees have been briefed on the September 2022 DUI incident as well as a 2015 bar fight during which Ashmawy was injured but was later found to have improperly used his congressional position

The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected an emergency appeal from former President Trump seeking to shield his tax returns from House Democrats, capping a multiyear legal battle and paving the way for the release of his tax returns. The order — which had no noted dissents — was in response to an appeal Trump filed with the Supreme Court late last month after a lower court declined to reverse its ruling mandating that he turn over his tax records to the House Ways and Means Committee. Chief Justice John Roberts had temporarily blocked their release in a Nov. 1 order while the court considered the matter.

His show ended in January. "I’ll tell you all this, if I lived in Pennsylvania, I would have already cast my vote for John Fetterman for many reasons," Winfrey said during a virtual conversation with community leaders.

Republican support for Donald Trump's presidential bid in 2024 has cratered, an exclusive USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll finds, as the former president is beleaguered by midterm losses and courtroom setbacks. By 2-1, GOP and GOP-leaning voters now say they want Trump's policies but a different standard-bearer to carry them. While 31% want the former president to run, 61% prefer some other Republican nominee who would continue the policies Trump has pursued. They have a name in mind: Two-thirds of Republicans and those inclined to vote Republican want Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to run for president. By double digits, 56% to 33%, they prefer DeSantis over Trump.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is fast emerging as a top 2024 presidential contender capable of beating both Donald Trump and President Joe Biden, an early election poll suggested on Tuesday.  The new USA Today/Suffolk University survey shows that a majority of GOP voters want Trump to pass the torch to the 44-year-old Republican governor - despite having declared his own third White House campaign last month. And while the ex-president trails Biden in a theoretical head-to-head rematch, DeSantis holds a narrow lead over the Democrat of about four points.
