Authorities have announced a mandatory curfew in a North Carolina county where around 40,000 customers lost power after two power substations were damaged by gunfire Saturday night. The county will implement a mandatory curfew from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., starting Sunday night, Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said at a news conference Sunday. Municipality and county officials “have formed a plan for the night and the next few nights that we may be out of power. It’s a very serious situation,” Fields said. “So we’ve come to an agreement to best protect our citizens and to protect the businesses of our county, we’re going to implement a curfew tonight.”

Police say it was coordinated to knock out city power but it wasn't terrorism.

ya hafta go to the local news to discover....immediately after the power went down, the Aberdeen wal mart and several gun stores were simultaneously hit with flash mob looting attacks. Coincidence? Just "human nature" in play? Maybe something a .....bit....more...uhm....troubling??

Not a big deal. If anyone is caught they will be released on "no bail" and life will return to normal until the next time something happens. I mean the crime issue is so overblown.

Best investment I ever made was a whole house natural gas powered generator. She’s saved our bacon during half a dozen storms and hurricanes that have rolled through here. 2nd best investment is probably my 12 gauge Mossberg pump.

Smash and grab is par for the course. Rahm Emanuel. This is definitely Terrorism by definition. 'DownTown Divas' showed disrupted. False flag maybe as well. I wouldn't call it a trial run, but bad actors are always watching. Someone knew exactly how to destroy this equipment. Our Society is falling apart. This could not have the intended effect in the end. Could mobilize the change that needs to occur.

Anyone interested should research a similar attack years ago on the Metcalf substation in San Jose, CA. 120 rounds of high-caliber rifle fire destroyed enough key transformers in that facility to knock it offline. Those transformers are so expensive that there are very few kept on the shelf as replacements across the entire USA. The feds' review of that attack concluded that if similar, coordinated attacks on about ten key substations across the country were made at the same time, it would knock out power to about 90% of the lower 48 states for 9 to 12 months. And nothing has been done to harden or protect any of them since then.

A recent report from the New York Post claims that Twitter’s top ranks are filled with ex-FBI agents and executives. Many of these employees were swept away by Elon Musk’s massive layoffs, but some feds are likely still on the payroll. The New York Post reports that many of Twitter’s top executive roles were staffed with ex-FBI agents, connecting the company even closer to the federal agency which is being criticized for allegedly leaning on Twitter before the 2020 elections. Over a dozen former federal officials reportedly joined the company in the years before Elon Musk purchased the website in October.

Officials charged five suspects connected to a far-left occupation in Atlanta, Georgia, with domestic terrorism and additional charges on Tuesday. “On Dec. 13, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) launched a raid on the so-called autonomous zone at the site of the future Atlanta Public Safety Training Center,” the Post Millennial reported Thursday. Members of Antifa and additional left-wing extremists from across the nation have gathered at the site to halt construction of what they have deemed “Cop City,” the article said. According to journalist Andy Ngo, police found explosives at the site and “Leading up to the raid, militants tried to burn a man to death in a car.”

"This would be the greatest regulatory overreach in American maritime law" — that’s how Frank Hugelmeyer describes a proposal by the Biden administration to limit the speed of all motorboats over 35 feet from Florida to Massachusetts. "Not only are they creating a serious safety issue, they are creating a massive negative economic impact." Hugelmeyer is president of the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), and he is just one of a growing number of voices expressing outrage over the proposal put forward by the U.S. Commerce Department under the auspices of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). "It’s stupid," said Jeff Angers, the president of the Center for Sportfishing Policy.

If the Federal government lied about their censorship, what other election initiatives are they lying about? Let’s look at their program created to gain access to local election data. Around 2011 DHS created their own intrusion detection system called the ALBERT Sensor. It’s part of the larger Einstein System that protects federal agencies from cyber risks. ALBERT is a “black box” server installed on a County’s network. It collects the traffic flowing on their election network and transmits this data to a nonprofit in NY. DHS selected this non-profit to monitor all the election data from across the United Sates.

No, McConnell said that "providing assistance for Ukrainians to defeat the Russians is the number one priority for the United States right now, according to most Republicans." Really?

The question in the title needs, I believe, critical examination. Why DOES the Left hate Trump so much? The answer, as usual, can largely be found by analyzing history. But first. Do they hate him because the average price of a gallon of gas in his administration was far lower than under Biden? Is it because inflation was low (around 2%) and trending downward? Is it that the USA was energy independent and didn’t need to beg our enemies for oil, deplete our strategic oil reserve or sell it to China? Is it because black and Hispanic unemployment was lower than at any time in history?

Add yet another government overreach to the “Things You Didn’t Think Could Happen in America” file: Democrats on the lame-duck House and Ways and Means Committee voted Tuesday to release six years of former President Donald Trump’s tax returns. Why? Because they um, uh—because they want to? But wait, you say to yourself, that’s not possible; your tax returns are private by federal law, and therefore protected from release. The Dems of course found a sleazy way around that. The tax code allows the committee to look at people’s tax returns to provide “oversight” of the Internal Revenue Service, and by writing an official report on their findings,
