Elon Musk has slammed journalists who are criticizing Matt Taibbi for releasing documents about Twitter's suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story. In a Twitter Spaces call on Saturday, the 51-year-old billionaire said reporters who are smearing Taibbi for revealing how the social media giant took down tweets about Biden's laptop should 'look in the mirror' and confront their own deceitfulness to 'the American people,' saying they were 'not being truthful' about the story. Taibbi, 52, has faced backlash from journalists — primarily from MSNBC — trashing his ethics and standards

Try to understand this. The talking heads we see on TV or in print are just low grade, gutless lackeys of the powerful cabal who own the media. Of course, it would be nice of one of them stood up to their overlords, but perhaps we are expecting too much of a class of people who simply read what is put in front of them.

To anyone who read John O'Neill's book about the Swift Boaters in 2004, we know that the media has been lying daily since Walter Cronkite stole the victory in Vietnam from our military. I hope Cronkite and his fellow travelers are roasting in Hades, for they deserve nothing less for what they did to our military and slapping the nation's face.

When news of the Battle of Saratoga reached Britain, a young Scottish barrister told economist Adam Smith: “If we go on at this rate, the nation must be ruined.” Adam Smith responded, “Be assured young friend, that there is a great deal of ruin in a nation.” By that, he meant that nations can absorb a lot more blows than the pessimists tend to think. A few days ago, American Greatness had a very concerned article by Victor Davis Hanson on the future of America. After quoting Adam Smith’s answer at the beginning of the article, and after reviewing the ills that beset America, Hanson concluded his

The full records of the closed-door testimonies and other information gathered by the January 6 Committee could remain hidden for decades, thanks to the its secretive nature and to laws protecting committee records. The committee, which was entirely one-sided against former President Donald Trump after Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) took the unprecedented step of blocking minority party nominees, followed the equally problematic practice of Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) in conducting his impeachment investigation into Trump in a restricted room of the House Intelligence Committee, thereby controlling the flow of information.

Argentina's World Cup celebrations have been marred by the death of a 24-year-old fan, after he fell through a roof 'jumping up and down' celebrating during Tuesday's victory parade after their dramatic penalty shootout win over France. Lionel Messi and the rest of Argentina's players delivered the nation's first World Cup triumph since 1986 and it caused millions in Argentina to throw parties. But after Tuesday's bus parade was cut short due to safety concerns of fans jumping onto the top of the bus with the players, the Buenos Aires Ministry of Health detailed how another fan died in hospital on Monday due to a head injury

The Democrat-controlled House Ways and Means Committee voted on Tuesday evening to release Donald Trump's tax returns. It ends a nearly four year long fight between liberal lawmakers and the former president, who fought tooth-and-nail to shield his financial statements from public view.  Debate lasted for more than three hours behind closed doors before a final vote of 24 to 16. All Democrats voted in favor of the action while all Republicans on the panel voted against. It's not immediately clear when the documents will be released.

Senate Republicans are gearing up to punch their voters in the mouth again, this time by passing a massive omnibus bill that gives the farm away to Democrats for essentially nothing in return. The reasoning behind the push is a bit of a mystery. Are we really to believe that these Republicans fear a short government shutdown so much that they are willing to concede the power of the purse their party fought so hard to win in November’s election? Color me skeptical on that front. On the contrary, as a nice change of pace, I think this move isn’t about cowardice but is about business as usual.

The Elimination of Harmful Language Initiative will also aim to educate people about the impact that 'racist, violent and biased' words have. Lawmakers on Capitol Hill touted a $1.7 trillion funding package on Tuesday — with both Democrats and Republicans claiming victories — which is designed to avert a government shutdown when the current funding expires at midnight on Friday. The text of the legislation is some 4,000 pages long, leaving very little hope for lawmakers — even with the help of aides — to get through the text prior to voting on the massive package. Predictably, Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s politically motivated House Select Committee wrapped up its one-sided investigation of the Jan. 6, 2021, protest at the U.S. Capitol with criminal referrals against former President Donald Trump. While it may be a stretch to say the criminal referrals were the panel’s objective all along, it was certainly predictable that the nine Trump-hating members would eventually vote to refer Trump to the Department of Justice for prosecution, which is precisely what they did this week on four trumped-up charges: inciting insurrection, conspiracy to defraud the United States, obstruction of an act of Congress, and conspiracy to make a false statement.

We can thank Watergate and the fall of Richard Nixon for numerous words and quotes that continue to shape public understanding of political scandals. There’s “hush money” and “Deep Throat,” a “modified limited hangout” and “follow the money.” But half-a-century later, two other Watergate phrases are key to comprehending the FBI’s sordid role in suppressing The Post’s initial coverage of Hunter Biden’s laptop.  The first is, “What did the president know and when did he know it?” In a 1973 Watergate hearing, the question about the president’s knowledge was asked by Sen. Howard Baker to White House counsel John Dean.

If you are a conservative voter in America today at some point you have to realize you have no representation in the US Senate. No, McConnell said that "providing assistance for Ukrainians to defeat the Russians is the number one priority for the United States right now, according to most Republicans." Really?

The question in the title needs, I believe, critical examination. Why DOES the Left hate Trump so much? The answer, as usual, can largely be found by analyzing history. But first. Do they hate him because the average price of a gallon of gas in his administration was far lower than under Biden? Is it because inflation was low (around 2%) and trending downward? Is it that the USA was energy independent and didn’t need to beg our enemies for oil, deplete our strategic oil reserve or sell it to China? Is it because black and Hispanic unemployment was lower than at any time in history?

Add yet another government overreach to the “Things You Didn’t Think Could Happen in America” file: Democrats on the lame-duck House and Ways and Means Committee voted Tuesday to release six years of former President Donald Trump’s tax returns. Why? Because they um, uh—because they want to? But wait, you say to yourself, that’s not possible; your tax returns are private by federal law, and therefore protected from release. The Dems of course found a sleazy way around that. The tax code allows the committee to look at people’s tax returns to provide “oversight” of the Internal Revenue Service, and by writing an official report on their findings,
