President Joe Biden said Tuesday that people were only starting to see the effects of his multi-trillion dollar spending agenda, despite Americans continuing to struggle with higher prices from inflation.
“We passed the American Rescue Plan,” Biden boasted. “Now everybody knows it, but we did so much, no one knows the effects of it yet. It’s just coming into play.” The president spoke to workers at a computer chip manufacturing plant in Bay City, Michigan, about the economy.
He argued that the $1.9 trillion funding in the American Rescue Plan helped enable local governments to keep paying their employees. He also boasted of his additional trillions in spending

We se the effects now. It is called inflation. Inflation was defined by Milton Friedman as "too much many chasing too few goods". Inflation can be cured by the supply side. Release oil production from all of the restrictions put on it by the Biden administration.

Government causes inflation, then promises to help people by giving them money, thereby exacerbating the problem. At the rate we’re going we’ll be Argentina.

Government employees are the biggest danger to American citizen's liberty, freedom, security, and well being. They must be kept to a manageable minimum. FJB just fed the fascist beast raw meat and opened the cage door on us. The Uniparty smiles right behind him. I am not amused.

The dems' Third Way experiment against the USA is already proved a collosal & dangerous failure! How many countries must try it and again suffer the inevitable consequences such devious policies cause before it is brushed into the, 'dustbin of history?!'

Instead of spending several trillion dollars on "American Rescue Plans", give away a million dollars to every living, breathing taxpayer and make them rich. We'll have a thriving economy and a balanced budget from the tax revenues, .....for one year. A one-shot deal to make things right, to live or die, and to correct their past irresponsible financial mistakes.

In a year or two, the interest on our debt alone will be nearly 1 trillion dollars. There is no recovery from those numbers except bankruptcy and a really, really Great Depression. This will be messy.

Wall street has a pretty good idea of these spending effects. Look for the Dow to take a nosedive at some point in the first six months of 2023. Then look for the demosluts to blame Republicans for the decline.

I'm sure the Trumpistas are singing the praises of PDT adding 50 percent to the national debt while tossing $14 TRILLION into the economy as stimulus, paycheck protection and even his "Operation Warp Speed". It was classic political "Never let a crisis go to waste" behavior, fully bi-partisan, with the President's approval. That is the critical mass that led to our current inflation, now further fueled by more of the same under Biden. Money is still cheap by historical standards. This isn't going to end anytime soon with nickel and dime rate increases.
