Hershel Walker, the Republican nominee to represent Georgia in the U.S. Senate, said on Tuesday’s edition of the Breitbart News Daily podcast with host Alex Marlow that he built a “$100 million business” while his incumbent opponent, Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA), only received “money from parishioners and taxpayers.” “I built a very successful company – over a hundred-million-dollar company – I built with my hands,” Walker stated, “all he’s ever done is got money from parishioners and taxpayers, and yet he’s in Dr. King’s church, [and] all he talks about is the color of people’s skin rather than the content of their character.”

As a person who lives in Georgia I can't wait for the runoff to be over. The commercials are nothing but one person trashing the other. Am not voting for Hershel. Am voting against Warthog. Chuckie Schumer has his hand so far up Warthog's hind quarters he'll never have to have a colonoscopy. Da Hog voted for inflation and has stolen thousands of dollars from me and ever other American. Meanwhile he is lining his pockets. He is still listed as a minister for the Ebnezar Baptist Church and gets a $ 7k a month "housing allowance." And he's evicting people from an apartment house he owns because they are behind on the rent. He's just another crooked preacher who wants gov money in addition to shaking down church goers.

Hershel, being a producer is no longer the thing. The thing is now to rip people off, produce nothing, do nothing, but own and run everything and present yourself as a paragon of virtue and the smartest person on the planet.

Sorry Hershel, the Libertarian voters won't vote for either party in protest, and GA Republicans typically stay home in runoff elections. Even if it means that the Democrats can get rid of the filibuster, the voters just aren't going to show up this time around. I guess we deserve what we vote (or don't vote) for.

None of that matters. The only thing that matters is who is counting the ballots. Walker has zero chance against that. We've seen it so many times.

President Biden all but declared himself as the greatest president in America’s history on Wednesday. "I tell you what," the president said. "No one’s ever done as much as president as this administration’s doing. Period." Biden spoke during the White House Tribal Nations Summit, which was to feature new announcements and efforts to put new policies in place that support Tribal communities. The summit, which takes place at the Department of the Interior, gives tribal leaders the opportunity to engage with top U.S. officials on ways to strengthen nation-to-nation relationships and ensure indigenous communities endure for years to come. As Biden spoke during the opening day

Midterm election turnout among black voters appears to be 25 percent lower than white turnout, marking the lowest share of the black electorate since 2006, a New York Times analysis revealed Wednesday. The low turnout of black voters is a strong indicator Democrats could be losing a key portion of their intersection coalition long heralded by members of the left, such as election denier House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), who has claimed the strategy a “gorgeous mosaic” and “not a cult.” Conclusive numbers have not yet been completely compiled from all 50 states, but an early snapshot of voter data suggests black voter turnout was well below the national average

Yesterday, the Wall Street Journal published an opinion piece by attorney Robin Keller describing how she lost her job at a large law firm after daring to speak up in favor of the Dobbs decision. This didn’t happen at a general staff meeting but on a conference call explicitly held to allow staffers to discuss the decision. After the Supreme Court issued its Dobbs decision overturning Roe v. Wade in June, global law firm Hogan Lovells organized an online conference call for female employees. As a retired equity partner still actively serving clients, I was invited to participate in what was billed as a “safe space” for women

The Washington Post will end the print edition of its Sunday magazine, Executive Editor Sally Buzbee told staffers in a memo Wednesday. Its last edition will be December 25. Some of the magazine’s features will move to a “revitalized Style section,” Buzbee writes in a short note, adding that Post remains “committed to longform journalism.” So what will happen to the magazine’s content? Tom Sietsema’s dining column and the crossword will run in the Sunday print edition as well as online of course, Post spokesperson Shani George tells Washingtonian. “Other features will be sunset,” George says. You know what that means: No more Date Lab.

Bankman-Fried's FTX imploded in mid-November after Coindesk reported irregularities in the company's balance sheets. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in Delaware on Nov. 11. Ever since the 2020 presidential election, we’ve been told that election deniers are threats to democracy. The only cure for that is to not vote for an election denier to ever hold elected office, they said. Yet, on Wednesday House Democrats voted for the next House Minority Leader and they did just that – they elected an election denier, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries. Hmm. You don’t think there is a double standard, do you? Perish the thought. Speaker Nancy Pelosi is retiring (good riddance) and the House is under new majority control in January. Democrats will be the minority party and Jeffries is their leader.

Here’s how TIME described it. The key phrase there in regard to Twitter is the attempt to “steer media coverage and control the flow of information.” That’s exactly what was happening until Musk’s takeover,

Too many people feel left out of Christmas celebrations due to their own faith – or lack of it – so the traditional Christian season should be downplayed, a UK-based diversity lobby group said. The call comes after statistics showed less than half of the population of England and Wales described themselves as Christian in the 2021 census, meaning Christianity is now a minority religion, as Breitbart News reported. Both atheism and Islam are making major gains as more people reportedly feel left out as a “heavy emphasis on celebrating the birth of Jesus,” can exclude others, according to Watch This Sp_ce, a self-described diversity and inclusion consultancy.

Levin used his show on Tuesday to talk about how the Republican Party’s slim majority in the House of Representatives may cause a struggle for McCarthy to get the votes he needs to succeed Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Hard-right members of the Congressional GOP have publicly opposed McCarthy’s bid for the speakership, so the House minority leader is currently trying to bring these factions in line and secure the 218 votes he needs.

House Democrats voted Wednesday to make Rep. Hakeem Jeffries their leader in the next Congress, replacing 82-year-old Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Jeffries won the post in an uncontested election after Pelosi and the two other incumbent members of the Democratic leadership, Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, opted to step down. Jeffries, a 52-year-old New Yorker, will be the first African American to serve as House Democratic leader. "Leadership is incredibly important," said Jeffries. "When we get an opportunity as diverse leaders to serve in positions of consequence, the most meaningful thing we can do in that space is an incredibly good job."

In one of the most appalling appropriations of a political banner in years—or at least since Trump decided in 2012, after years of changing party registrations, finally to settle on calling himself a Republican—some of the conservatives hoping to salvage the GOP’s fortune after the 2022 midterms are trying to seize and redefine the term Never Trump to mean a rejection of “only Trump, and no other Republicans who are like him.”

Yes, your intentionally destructive policies “did so much” harm to everyday American families that “nobody knows the effects” of how bad things will get–and how long it will take to recover after you’ve vamoosed from office, one way or another. Biden, on Tuesday, defended his ill-fated “American Rescue Plan” for the zillionth time by arguing that the (at least) $1.9 trillion spending spree helped enable local governments to keep paying their employees (which does zero to help productivity). He also boasted of his additional trillions in spending for government-subsidized health care, manufacturing, infrastructure, and so-called “green energy.”

Opponents said approving the use of killer robots was like something out of a science fiction movie, and a threat to the poor and to people of color.
