No matter how you define “marriage,” there is zero respect for it in the so-called Respect for Marriage Act.
You may believe it serves to federally codify the Supreme Court’s Obergefell decision that rejected marriage as a male-female union. Maybe it would do so temporarily. But that’s not the endgame.
If you’re paying attention, you can see that the Senate’s recent 62-37 vote for cloture on HR 8404 puts us one step closer to abolishing state recognition of marriage entirely. That’s where this train is headed.
This will happen the same way such things always happen — through a demonization campaign that frames skeptics as bigots who are guilty of discrimination.

The Department of Energy won’t say whether it plans to fire Biden administration official Sam Brinton, who was charged with felony theft last month after he allegedly stole a woman’s roller bag from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
“Sam Brinton is on leave from DOE, and Dr. Kim Petry is performing the duties of Deputy Assistant Secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition,” the department told The Federalist in a statement on Tuesday.(snip)According to a criminal complaint reviewed by Alpha News, Brinton snatched the navy blue roller bag and its contents, worth $2,325, from the Minnesota airport baggage claim on Sept. 16 on a trip from Washington, D.C.

Sens. Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, Rick Scott, and Mike Braun are warning Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell against greenlighting Democrats’ massive omnibus spending bill before the newly elected, GOP-controlled House of Representatives is officially sworn in.
The coalition of senators sent a letter on Wednesday urging the GOP head to ignore pleas to extend the government’s funding beyond when the new Congress takes office to encompass the entire 2023 fiscal year, including increased spending on Ukraine.
“We must not accept anything other than a short-term Continuing Resolution that funds the federal government until shortly after the 118th Congress is sworn in,” the senators wrote. “No additional spending, no additional policy priorities should

Obviously, the RNC Club realizes they have a problem. They are majority funded by major billionaire donors who are opposed to the MAGA populist movement within the group. People are awake to the dynamic.
RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel is also facing scrutiny for her inept party efforts in previous elections. Specifically scrutinized for not having any action plan to combat ballot assembly and collection and being hopelessly outmatched by the organized DNC.

As NBC has now outlined in detail, a trio of dubious characters leveraged President Trump’s previous support for troubled Kanye West as an opportunity for an intentional smear campaign construct by Milo Yiannopoulos, Nick Fuentes and Kanye West himself. [Details Here] Mr. West, now known as Ye, intended to make trouble by bringing uninvited guests along to carry out the operation.
The media and political opposition gleefully latched on to the successful targeting operation, in an effort to smear Donald Trump. In typical Alinsky fashion, the goal is to controversialize the operational target. Senator Mitch McConnell followed up today with his own pile on supported by his

There seems to be no limit on what tissues and organs can be damaged by COVID-19 vaccination. Because lipid nanoparticles laced with genetic code for the damaging Spike protein are distributed throughout the body, bad luck may play a role with disproportionate delivery to a specific area, for example the eyes.
The eyes receive their precious blood supply from the optic artery with no backup or redundancy. Hence, if lipid nanoparticles settle along the artery or into the central nerve taking visual signals to the brain, then inflammation fighting the foreign Spike protein will start a process of tissue damage leading to loss of vision. Indeed, this injury pattern has been

Boyden Gray & Associates filed a lawsuit in June on behalf of three doctors who allege that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) illegally interfered with their doctor–patient relationships, resulting in harm. They also claim that the FDA broke the law when the agency issued statements prohibiting the use of ivermectin to treat COVID-19.
In response to the lawsuit, lawyers for the FDA claimed that its guidance for people to “stop” taking ivermectin for COVID-19 was informal and just a recommendation; as such, they weren’t mandating against it.

The US Men’s National Team (USMNT) was made to work hard for its place in the World Cup knockout stage, earning a tough 1-0 win over Iran in a nerve-racking Group B decider at Qatar 2022.
Christian Pulisic’s first-half goal was all that separated the two sides as the USMNT reached the round of 16 for the first time since 2014.
(snip)
It certainly wasn’t pretty at times, in particular in the closing stages against Iran, but progressing through the group stage was the minimum expectation for this exciting young team.
There will be some concerns going into the knockout stages, though, after Pulisic suffered an abdominal injury while scoring the winner.

ll 12 railroad unions vote individually to ratify their contracts, unless congress intervenes and imposes a contract which forces all to abide. The railroad unions representing a majority of the railroad workers remain in dispute with the currently proposed contract with no resolution in sight and a potential labor union strike looming on December 9th.
If one union within the collective group strikes, all of the unions (snip)would almost certainly join in solidarity, triggering an industry-wide freight rail work stoppage.
With the unions at an impasse over sick pay, Joe Biden has asked congress to intervene and impose a contract based on the terms of an earlier agreement.

Hire weird and sketchy clowns and don’t be surprised when the office turns into a circus. Dept of Energy Nuclear Waste official Sam Brinton made headlines months ago for being an odd duck hired into a senior DoE position.
His resume’ included teaching a “Kink 101” workshop at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and his qualifications included several degrees from MIT and a non-binary gender fluid identity. However, stories are now surfacing of Mr/Ms Brinton stealing luggage containing women’s clothing from the Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) International Airport.

The next generation of America’s top doctors could be more concerned about a patient’s race than previous generations.
CriticalRace.org, which monitors critical race theory (CRT) curricula and training in higher education, has expanded its Medical School Database and found that 58 of the nation’s top 100 medical schools have some form of mandatory student training or coursework related to the polarizing idea that racism is systemic in America's institutions.
"Medical School education is in crisis, with 'social justice' and race-focused activism being imposed on students, faculty, and staff," William Jacobson told Fox News Digital.
