The Dutch government plans to buy and close down up to 3,000 farms near environmentally sensitive areas to comply with EU nature preservation rules. The Netherlands is attempting to cut down its nitrogen pollution and will push ahead with compulsory purchases if not enough farms take up the offer voluntarily. Farmers will be offered a deal “well over” the worth of the farm, according to the government plan that is targeting the closure of 2,000 to 3,000 farms or other major polluting businesses. Earlier leaked versions of the plan put the figure at 120 per cent of the farm’s value

Closing down farms to decrease food production so citizens can starve. Kinda reminds one of Stalin and the state of Ukraine back in the Depression era. Turned out great for Stalin. Not so great for the ~3.9 million Ukrainians. Hey, Stalin has his reason and so too the Dutch goobernment. Its only dead people after all. Bet a bunch of Dems in Congress would like to get a little bit of the action here at home.

Yes #1 they do. And for the wealthy elites it always will. The rest of us, bugs or just starvation. What they are doing to farming around the globe reminds of the movie Soylent Green. Removing people from the land, shoving them into sterile dangerous cities, and as for food, we haven't seen the half of what they will "manufacture" for us to eat while they dine on wagyu and lobster and sip fine wine. Always remember.. WE are the carbon they wish to reduce.

This is all the WEF Davos elite crowd’s doing. “It’s MY way or the HIGHWAY.” Is there a “right to bear arms’ in the Netherlands? If so, what happens if ALL farmers say NO? They should just STOP all food production right NOW and see how that works.

Watch what happens. The government will buy/take the farms. Then in a few years they will change their minds and decide they need that land to be farmed and will "sell" it. But not back to the original owners but to politically well connected farm companies. Then they will complain about how bad big farm capitalism is and something should be done about it. When in fact it was the government that created big farm and they intend to never do anything about it.

They need that farmland to revert to its wild natural state so that there are more trees for the people to cut down to heat their homes since they aren't allowed any natural gas or oil production . The U.S. has plenty of food and money and ..... We'll send you all the food, and money and anything else you may need'! Think that isn't the plan ?? Strap in and watch ! The 'youngsters' have been 'dumb-ed down' so much over the last few decades that they DO believe food magically appears in grocery stores, along with believing that electricity come out of the wall outlets !! Ignorance raised almost to an art form ! There is a quotation by H.L. Mencken that stated something about hoisting the black and start ................... you can look up the entire quote. That time, IMHO, is rapidly approaching for these people - and others elsewhere in the world ! Weapons aren't needed. Sometimes, depending on the seriousness of the situation, bare hands are quit sufficient ! Not advocating a course of action, just say'in.
