The US soccer federation displayed Iran's national flag on social media without the emblem of the Islamic Republic, saying the move supports protesters in Iran ahead of the two nations' World Cup match Tuesday. Iran's government reacted by accusing America of removing the name of God from their national flag and called for FIFA to kick the USA out of the World Cup with a 10-game ban from soccer. Tasmin news agency - associated closely with the Iranian regime - says Iran's soccer federation will make the request to FIFA, soccer's governing body.  The symbol was later returned to the flag on the USA's website but

These people go out of their way to insult and demean everything that is good in our culture without penalty, then they go over there and think they can get away with the same thing. I hope they get buried up to their necks and stoned to death, one at a time so they can all watch.

The US Soccer Federation has politicized just about everything during this World Cup. They seem more concerned with being Social Justice Warriors and proving their Wokeness than playing and winning high caliber soccer. From the LGBTQ flag arm patches (instead of US flag) to no the incorrect Iranian flag, shows that they care more about being loved for being PC than wining.

#12 it is the "ugly American" syndrome I happen to believe the Iranian government is detestable and wish their people would overthrow it . But these are games and the US Soccer federation has no right to speak for the nation. I also don't believe the lbxyz++#& patches are appropriate for the same reason and couldn't care less if the US wins a game. I thought the left was anti-nationalism (aka fascism)

Soccer is boring to watch. In America millions play the game until they grow up, then leave it behind. There were aerial views of the Coliseum during the USC-Notre Dame with 75 thousand people in the stands. But, right next to the Coliseum is a tiny amphitheater for soccer that struggles with attendance even in a championship season. Last summer saw Arsenal play in London...yawn zzzzzzzzz.

In what I suspect is a spate of misinformed zealotry, Apple has threatened to remove the Twitter app from its App Store. At least, according to Twitter CEO Elon Musk. This is all part of the effort by left-wing zealots to “punish” Twitter for proposing to end censorship based on political leanings. Mr. Musk said that, if pressed, he would launch his own line of phones in response. Should Apple CEO Tim Cook take such a threat seriously, or can he laugh it off? I think he’d best take it very seriously.

The Georgia runoff election is now just a little over a week away, yet the White House is still mum on whether President Joe Biden's plans to campaign for Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) against his Republican opponent, Herschel Walker.  During Monday's White House press briefing, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had been asked by a reporter if there were "any plans for the president to go to Georgia in the final days of the Senate runoff." Again, that election is just eight days away, so it is indeed "the final days."

One who dares to speak out is former Democrat congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, who since breaking with her party hasn’t shied away from calling out its historic abuses, and she laid out who is responsible for the plague of degeneracy

Kemp, who won reelection earlier this month against Stacey Abrams, tells voters that they "cannot rest on our laurels." "You're going to decide who our senator is.
