A huge fire has ripped through a major gas pipeline in Russia following an explosion. But Russian experts have hinted at sabotage after claiming an accidental explosion is "impossible without external influence". It is thought it was the main gas pipeline belonging to Gazprom Transgaz SPB that exploded - affecting up to one million people. Thick plumes of smoke were visible for miles around the scene close to Putin's home city of St Petersburg after the blast. Russia appears to have pointed the finger at suspected sabotage, claiming an accident is "impossible". Gas industry Telegram channel Gaz Batyushka reported an anonymous

I worry that Biden's handlers are sending in US special forces or CIA operatives to do this sort of thing. For one thing, we are not at war with Russia, so destroying their resources and killing their citizens is immoral at best. More importantly, if we get caught, WWIII just might get triggered.

Yeah, you gotta watch those "external influences". Especially if your country is currently trying to "externally influence" another country, in a violent manner.

Someone in a position to have certainty about the perpetrator wouldn't admit it openly, and anyone who says they're sure, doesn't really know. It does seem capable of escalating the conflict at hand, though.

Equatorial Guinea President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, Africa's longest-serving ruler and the longest-serving president in world history, was primed Sunday to extend his unprecedented 43-year authoritarian rule, The Associated Press reported. While Obiang is running in an election, AP noted that the country's electoral system is not considered free, and Obiang has never gotten less than 90 percent of the vote in his four decades in power. This trend looked primed to continue, and just two opposition candidates ran against Obiang, who was expected to once again win in a landslide. Obiang's presidency has seen a regime marked by numerous

Democrat Adam Frisch has conceded to Rep. This small margin triggers an automatic recount in Colorado’s election system,” Frisch said. “We are not asking for this recount … The likelihood of this recount changing more than a handful of votes is very small. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) telling people to “stop” taking ivermectin for COVID-19 was informal and just a recommendation, government lawyers argued during a recent hearing. “The cited statements were not directives. They were not mandatory. They were recommendations. They said what parties should do. They said, for example, why you should not take ivermectin to treat COVID-19. They did not say you may not do it, you must not do it. They did not say it’s prohibited or it’s unlawful. They also did not say that doctors may not prescribe ivermectin,” Isaac Belfer, one of the lawyers, told the court during the Nov. 1 hearing in federal court
