Kari Lake Announces Formation of Legal

With thin margins, most major decision desks have called the Arizona gubernatorial race in favor of Democratic Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, but Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake announced Thursday morning that she’s not yet ready to concede. In a video message posted to her Twitter account, captioned with “Arizona, we are still in the fight,” Lake addressed what she described as a “broken election system” and vowed to continue to fight to prove that something seems to have gone terribly wrong. “When we called for Katie Hobbs to recuse herself a year ago, they ridiculed us. Let's hope Kari's legal team is full of good constitutional lawyers who are intelligent and fairly quiet....not like a team from 2020 that killed Donald Trump's chances with their wild accusations and love of cameras/microphones!

Good for her, I think she should contest this. Their whole system and it's problems stunk from the start, and Hobbs overseeing an election she's in, is unethical to say the least. Go for it Kari, and I pray you will succeed.

I am right there with #2. If Democrats want to win at any cost, then there ballots/votes should be able to hold up in a court process.

It’s not just the Arizona Gov race but the entire election stealing modus operandi of the Democrats will be up for examination and scrutiny. Which it has never been. Let us see if the courts accept that Lake has the ‘standing’ to sue.

Lake has nothing to lose at this stage by contesting the election. Yes, a re-count will cost some money and more donations to her campaign are critical. Regardless of the outcome, Lake has a bright future in politics.

It is well-known that many Republicans wait until Election Day to vote, mainly because it is believed there is less chance of mishandling their ballots. It just so happened that, according to an election judge, voting machines were found to be in working order the night before the election, but many were not working properly the very next morning. At least 23 machines were either misreading the ballots or the printers did not contain enough ink to print the ballot out. All were located in heavy Republican areas. Many voters complained that they had to wait 3 or more hours or had to go to another polling place to vote. How many voters were simply discouraged or had other pressing items to attend to and just didn’t vote? The election board was warned in advance about problems with the voting machine. It looks to me like malfeasance was taking place. If I was on the Maricopa or Harris County election board, I could not and would not in good conscience certify any election results until all questions about voter/ballot anomalies are adequately addressed. They couldn’t make me.

Democrat election officials and a Sec of State in charge of the election, who also was a candidate, smugly claim they will count all the legal votes, including those for Lake. What they do not say is they will also count all the illegal votes, and decide those votes that went to arbitration are for Hobbs, that some Republican ballots were lost, and that some Democrat ballots were counted more than once. One one of the competitors is also the referee, the process will never be trusted. When no election is ever allowed to be audited by independent parties, the process will never have any trust.

All of the candidates who had anomalies occur in their elections should sue for audits or a completely new election process. The republican party should take the money that they withheld from candidates and finance those lawsuits, Mitch? The GOP had two years to fix this cheating and they sat on their respective butts and did nothing. Fetterman being carried over the goal line in Pennsylvania is only one example. Hochul and Whitmer should have been beaten soundly. The party failed us in more ways than one.

As my RedState colleagues and I have noted before, that First Lady Jill Biden frequently plays director and Shover-in-Chief for supposed leader of the free world Joe Biden, when he appears lost and/or confused during public speaking engagements, is not new news. But recent instances where “Dr.” Jill stepped in to run interference for Joe Biden in the midst of his classified documents scandal have put a finer point on Jill Biden’s sometimes domineering hold over Joe, at a time when the POTUS, who has faced questions throughout his presidency about his mental fitness to lead, hasn’t officially declared that he’s running for reelection–though rumors are swirling

As the crisis of illegal crossings continues unabated at the Southern Border, migrant encounters in the state of Vermont were also up a staggering 734 percent in the period of October-December 2022 compared to the same period the prior year. While the percentage rise is massive, the pace is still a trickle compared to what goes on at the Rio Grande. For instance, 441 crossers were caught trying to slip into Vermont from Canada in December 2022, while a record 251,487 were nabbed trying to cross the US-Mexico border during the same period. Still, the dramatic rise is still concerning.

On the night of January 7th, 2022, in the city of Memphis, five Black men wearing badges and sidearms, who swore an oath to serve and protect, did none of those things. Instead, those now-fired police officers beat Tyre Nichols so badly that he died, from their multiple kicks and punches, in the hospital days later. Tyre Nichols was also a Black man. The difference was, the only criminals on the street that fateful night were wearing badges. One need only watch the video once, to see that what those men did to Nichols was utterly unjustified and criminal. What was the conclusion of CNN’s Van Jones, in a new op-ed?

Billions of dollars worth of U.S. weapons are on the negotiating table between Russian strongman Vladimir Putin and Afghanistan’s Taliban government, according to at least one insider. Presidentish Joe Biden’s bungled bugout from Afghanistan resulted in a windfall for the new radical Islamic government, including artillery, attack helicopters, and thousands of HUMVEES, machine guns, radios — all left behind as our orderly withdrawal degenerated into a rout. The Department of Defense estimates the total value of the gear Biden left behind at a whopping $7.12 billion, and now Putin is reportedly offering to buy whatever he and the battered Russian Army need.

Florida teachers are being told to make their classroom libraries — and any other books that haven’t been approved by the state — inaccessible to students. The policy was put into place last week in response to HB 1467, which Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) signed into law last March. That law established that teachers could not pick books that they say are appropriate for their students based on their own idea of what’s “appropriate.” The teachers are complaining that the state doesn’t trust them to choose only approved literature. And they’re right. And that’s a good thing. I’m pretty much a free-speech absolutist.

Last January, Joe Biden set the Democratic base ablaze with the incendiary charge that Republicans were suppressing the votes of minorities. “Jim Crow 2.0 is about two insidious things: voter suppression and election subversion,” Biden told a crowd at Atlanta University. “It’s no longer about who gets to vote; it’s about making it harder to vote. It’s about who gets to count the vote and whether your vote counts at all.” “It’s not hyperbole; this is a fact.” At the time, it was a supposition, not a fact, to claim that the Republican election reforms would suppress the black vote. And as it turns out, it certainly was hyperbole.
