Reporting of election results resumed Thursday in the contentious race for Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District between incumbent Lauren Boebert (R-Silt) and Democratic challenger Adam Frisch of Aspen. Over a week after Election Day and with almost all of the counties reporting results in District 3 as of 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Boebert was still leading over Frisch, but by a slimmer margin. The latest count had Frisch trailing by 551 votes, but the tally was continually updating as counties reported. In the last batch of Pueblo County votes reported Thursday afternoon, Frisch netted 123 votes out of 914 ballots from rectified

Comments:

Lauren is leading by 551 and it's believed there are only 200 uncounted ballots left. Someone miscalculated the last-minute ballot dump that would catapult the Democrat into the lead.

Every ballot matters! Search every courthouse, whorehouse, and outhouse! Leave no ballot uncounted! Keep searching! Extend the election! To call the election now would be an INJUSTICE!

Not to worry, the dems will steal if from her...why in the blue blazes does it take so long to count votes in Colorado?? I know, it takes awhile for the dems to figure how many votes they need manufacture to win.

Gee. Look at that car full of Democrat bumper stickers that pulled up in the county election office parking lot. And the guy is carrying a box marked "Ballots." Hey, the paint on "Ballots" is still dripping!

No problem. The Dims will find more votes until they win, then stop everything and declare the "winner."

This is heading to recount, but Boebert declared victory. Explain this math: "Frisch netted 123 votes out of 914 ballots from rectified" 914-123=791 "The latest count had Frisch trailing by 551 votes" Is there a third person in the race? Are they subtracting votes for Boebert instead of adding? Were most of the remaining 791 counted, or did they just count the votes for the rabid dog lefty? I'm confused.

Democrat Adam Frisch has conceded to Rep. Lauren Boebert in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District in what shaped up to be a surprisingly competitive race in an otherwise blue district that was likely to head into a runoff. (Snip) “The voters have spoken and while we show great progress, I remain down by a few hundred votes. This small margin triggers an automatic recount in Colorado’s election system,” Frisch said. “We are not asking for this recount … The likelihood of this recount changing more than a handful of votes is very small. Very very small. It would be disingenuous and

On the heels of her midterm victory, CNN was already pushing for Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer to run for president in 2024. The Democrat, who won re-election by a double-digit margin in the blue state, stopped by CNN Thursday morning to talk about her priorities in her next term. Michigan was one of four states where Democrats gained control of both legislative chambers and the governorship. Whitmer expressed hope for more gun control and pro-choice legislation coming through Congress. Afterwards, CNN host Kaitlan Collins urged the Democrat to run in 2024.
