Fans love that Tim Allen is reprising his role as Santa for the Disney+ miniseries, “The Santa Clauses,” but some critics are complaining he’s too much of a “right-wing Santa.” The 69-year-old actor is one of the few openly conservative people in Hollywood. This makes it no surprise that critics zeroed in on a single line in the new “Santa Clauses” series (Snip) In one scene, Allen’s character complains about the state of modern society. “’Saying ‘Merry Christmas to all’ has suddenly become problematic,” he observes. “What was going on in the minds of the writers as they penned this semi-political one-liner?” an article on The A.V. Club wondered.

It’s interesting how this is basically a North American issue. The last time I was in [northern] Germany, not only was Christmas unashamedly embraced (complete with life size manger scenes on public property), but I even saw ads about special sales on the third Sunday of Advent.

Release two versions of the movies. One labeled merry Christmas edition using Christmas in the script and one labeled happy holiday edition using liberal terms and let the dollars fall where they may. I’m guessing Christmas would win.

So what is being said is that ONLY the left are allowed to have their views written into a story and put into a movie. Because only the lefts opinions and life styles matter. got it. One example. I love the show" So help me Todd." Its well written, great plots and very good acting. I watched the show until the women lawyers son is "married" to a guy. The son cant be married to a women! Not all families have gay people in them. The man and man "marriage" has absolutely NOTHING to do with the story line. So, like many other shows that have to push that left agenda into my living room, I shut the TV off.

Apparently, the critics have been brain-dead to the line in the original version of the movie, "The Day the Earth Stood Still," where the spaceman is being discussed around the breakfast table and one of the characters says, "They're not people. They're Democrats."

Anybody complaining about that line should be asked whether that means they disagree with the line. Since they're the ones who have the biggest problem with people saying, "Merry Christmas to all," they'll have to defend criticizing others for expressing an opinion that they agree with. Hypocrites.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) telling people to “stop” taking ivermectin for COVID-19 was informal and just a recommendation, government lawyers argued during a recent hearing. “The cited statements were not directives. They were not mandatory. They were recommendations. They said what parties should do. They said, for example, why you should not take ivermectin to treat COVID-19. They did not say you may not do it, you must not do it. They did not say it’s prohibited or it’s unlawful.
