Hilarie Burton called Candace Cameron Bure a “bigot” over her comments about representing “traditional marriages” onscreen. The “One Tree Hill” alum responded to a Wall Street Journal interview in which Cameron Bure mentioned the Great American Family network does not feature same-sex couples at the forefront of its projects, accusing the former “Full House” star of “openly admitting [her] bigotry.” (Snip) Cameron Bure further explained her decision to the Wall Street Journal on Monday, saying she “knew that the people behind Great American Family were Christians that love the Lord and wanted to promote faith programming and good family entertainment.”

Comments:

Oh, there's bigotry alright but it isn't coming from Candace Cameron Bure.

Hilarie Burton is the Bigot! She calls me, and everyone else who doesn't agree with her version on "traditional marriage" a Bigot. I think she's the Bigot for not allowing us to have our own version. We do NOT have to agree with hers! I have watched Hallmark for years and loved their Movies. They have always been "feel good" movies, which is what most of us Ladies are looking for! Then a couple years ago, all of a sudden, we see Lesbians in Love, Bi-Racial marriages and Homosexual Men kissing! Ugh! I just turn them off!! So, I'm with Candace. If I can find where her Movies are, I will be going along with her!

When it comes to liberals, it’s their definition of everything or the highway. Compromise means you come over to their point of view. Equality means equity and so on. Everyone must accept Everything. This is where we must draw the line in the culture war and say No! Our beliefs will not be compromised ever! Per Michael Savage who has advocated for decades -if you don’t have borders, language and culture, you have no country.

Hiarie, honey, Candace is firm in her beliefs and practices what she preaches. Just like you have your beliefs, Candace has hers. Seems as though you’re the intolerant one who can’t abide by other people not believing as you do. So, you call them names. Grow up. Accept others knowing not everyone has the same ideology or group think. That’s called being an adult.

I’m with #1. Hallmark channel went woke and I turned it off. Bure can be found on Great American Family channel. Quite a few Hallmark stars made the move with her. I’m not a bigot, I completely disagree with the same sex bs. If they don’t like it, too bad. I’m a life long Catholic and it goes against the teachings of our religion. They want to be affirmed and if someone doesn’t agree with them they go after them. Such crap.

Hallmark should put a TV-GAY label in the corner so people can at least turn it off before witnessing gay couple action.

Movies about abnormal people doing normal things does not make them normal and therefore if Hallmark keeps on pushing abnormal behavior in your face we will turn it off and go where we do not have to worry about grooming from Hallmark.

To those who ask who are these women, Candace Cameron Bure was a child sitcom star, as an adult she's had a successful TV-movie career. Candace is also a frequent target of Hollywood leftist hate because she's a Christian.

Candace Cameron didn't even say that same sex couples were bad or shouldn't be seen. All she said that they were not front and center at the new network. Such a crime to not give full 100% attention to the LGBTQ crowd and act like every other couple is a same sex couple. Same goes for every other couple must now be bi-racial or there always be several cute biracial children of a widow/widower, and always the wise (usually Black) gay character. Every movie must be a Benneton ad of diversity. The forced inclusion does not always work with the story. THe LGBTQ mafia need to take some Xanax and relax. Its not always about them.

Candace Cameron Bure is a well-known actress and a devout Christian. She is a good woman who won't take a part that goes against her morals and faith. Anyone else remember when that description would have been lauded and praised?!?!? On the other hand, Hilarie Burton is someone that I have never heard of, and who clearly is a hate-filled bigoted shrew of a hose-beast!!!! I have to admit I used to love the Hallmark Christmas movies every year. They were light-hearted love stories featuring nice normal men and women falling in love set in Christmas themes. But then they slowly started incorporating homosexual people, and finally went full-in with whole storylines dedicated to sodomite "couples". They lost me. Homosexuals have their own dedicated TV channels. Pretty much most other channels represent them in much higher numbers than their actual numbers as a percentage of our society justify. Hallmark was the one channel you felt like you weren't going to get immorality and perversion shoved in their faces. But they made their choices, and have to live with them.
