The Associated Press called the Arizona gubernatorial race for Democrat Katie Hobbs at 9:30 pm Monday night. Hobbs, who stared down calls to recuse herself from overseeing her own election as Arizona’s secretary of state, is expected to certify her own election near the end of the month.
Hobbs’ opponent, Kari Lake, who had been widely expected to win, may not go quietly into the night. Shortly before the “vote dump” that preceded the call, Lake was on Fox News’s “Jesse Watters Primetime.” (Video) “What’s going to happen when we hear about this vote dump?” asked Watters.
“I don’t know… We think we should be in good shape,” she said,

This is much bigger than just Kari as governor. The establishment is terrified of her as a potential president some day, so they had to make sure she didn’t win the first step there.
The Arizona cheaters had help from cheaters at a very high level. They would have done the same to DeSantis but he was able to preempt it in the last four years.
You’ve been overrun by evil. God help us. Please.

It's 2020 all over again in Arizona. Her words are true but will ring hollow, and if anything is to be done about it this time the approach will have to be more solid and legally founded.

Only in the fevered, drug-and-perversion addled brain-housing group of a dedicated leftist would an election in which one of the contestants certifies the result be considered legitimate.

Why didn't Lake flag these issues more loudly BEFORE the election? Such as Hobb's running the election and running for governor at the same time.

To hell with a recount. Re-do the election. One day, in-person, photo ID required, and manually count ballots at the precincts. Do not accept 'recently discovered' ballot boxes.
I know, the dems will squeal like stuck pigs. Marc Elias' lawfare machine will kick into high gear--not to mention the fact that Hobbs never recused herself as AZ SoS--and Doug Doocy, ever the GOPe hack, apparently has resigned himself to be the lame duck.
Of course a re-do election would upset the great recalibration model in American politics since 2020: It's not the quality of the Dem party candidate that counts, but how to maximize the ballot counts.

#16 mentions the only valid solution but it will not be implemented unless the screaming is loud enough and the penalties are stiff enough. It will be found that every republican cheated out of a position actually won his election. Except for Donald Trump, he will always be the guy who lost to Brainless Joe and created an insurrection because to admit otherwise would kill the democrat party.

The dims complain about "voter suppression"
Credentialed voters stand in line to vote in person and aren't guaranteed their vote was recorded while mail in ballots are summarily processed without scrutiny.

Videos of a rented panel trucks leaving the post office with totes of mail in ballots enters a fenced in PRINTING COMPANY into a warehouse? What did the fascists do inside this warehouse? And voters in the suburbs were turned away because voting machines failed? In our state if CHAIN OF CUSTODY was lost on this many ballots and voters disenfranchised the election would be void.

RE #8 - She did and often without any support from the Republican Governor of Arizona.
BTW - per Kari Lake on a recent interview before the election said that AZ law only requires an office seeker to resign/recuse themselves when they're running for the office they currently occupy so Katie's excuse was: I'm not running for SoS (again).

No...poster #1...I will not agree...Kari is a fighter...and I see her taking this to the courts...it is not legal for a candidate/hobbles to be in charge of the election counting..when they are running in that race ...so right there Kari has a challenge in the courts...

You can go back to the Al Franken disaster in Minnesota. Democrats just keep finding and counting ballots until they win. Repubs say they races were all close. Well the fact is, they were close only because democrats need to print the number of ballots they need to win. They don't need a recount they need an audit. Wake up.

This is what I wrote last night, but bears repeating:
PSALM 125: THIS IS OUR PRAYER. THE WICKED WILL NOT RULE THE LAND OF THE GODLY
1.Those who trust in the Lord are as secure as Mount Zion;
they will not be defeated but will endure forever.
2 Just as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people, both now and forever.
3 The wicked will not rule the land of the godly, for then the godly might be tempted to do wrong.
4 O Lord, do good to those who are good, whose hearts are in tune with you.
5 But banish those who turn to crooked ways, O Lord. Take them away with those who do evil.

#24: I think I heard somewhere Arizona law says the only elected position Hobbs would have to legally (not ethically) recuse herself from is if she were running for Secretary of State again; otherwise, she doesn't have to recuse herself since she was running for governor (and if this is the case, this is another stupid election law). Maybe another poster can verify if this is true or not...

the first thing Kari should have said: what are we going to do about this lunatic law that allows the communistic troll under the bridge to rig the election, to crown herself queen?
frankly i've never heard of this legalised stalinism in all my time following the politics in oz.
since when does 'oversight' allow the sos to stomp the counting floor, crash the machines, hide the ink, turn away voters,
stop or start the roller coaster counting with every new mystery hash of ''ballots'' dumped. even noo yawk did a more creditable job.
so, yes, the other posters are correct--re-do this farce completely, and honestly...for all the world to see.
no witch in the woods, no al gore lock box #3, no mr rogers or mr fontes the recycled snake oil salesman.
any further failure to conduct a proper election means that az will have to change the flag to.... the frog and scorpion.

They cannot afford to let Lake become governor. As governor, she will launch a real investigation into the vote fraud in Arizona, and the Hobbs gang will all end up in jail.
