WNBA player Brittney Griner has now been moved to a Russian forced labor camp to complete her 9-1/2-year prison sentence after being convicted on drug charges in Moscow.
Analysts say that the basketball player will face harsh conditions and her family in the U.S. may not even be allowed to know exactly where she is, according to the New York Post.
Griner was convicted of importing illegal drugs into Russia in August several months after she was arrested in a Moscow airport for having cannabis oil in a vaping cartridge in her luggage.
While vaping cartridges such as the ones in her luggage would be ignored by many western countries,

I wouldn't want to be in Griner's shoes. Assuming she/he/it survives the 9 and a half years, she/he/it will be no more than a human vegetable. However, I am sure once biden the cheater surrenders in Ukraine, Griner would be freed in a heartbeat.

She is a multi millionaire, college graduate, with LOTS of prior experience in Russia having worked there as a "Sports Professional" for several years in the off season...smuggled in drugs she KNEW were illegal. Got caught...Oh well.
It's not like she was some drunk college kid in mexico for spring break for the 1st time that gets caught with some dope...for whom NO President bothers to take an interest in.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. Taking drugs into a totalitarian state like Russia is major league stupid. I hope she it learning a lesson, because it is a damned expensive tutorial.

So is she making Nike's against her will, building prefab houses for the commies, grinding rocks into gravel, digging holes to nowhere? Anybody know? Just curious what happens when you stupidly bring illegal drugs into a country that doesn't care whom you are and won't have a problem sending you up a creek without a paddle.

Griner "came out" at the GLAAD awards nine years ago, and displayed a deeper voice than many males, male android hips (not curved female hips), and in the picture under the title, and straight "male" arms instead of female arms angled slightly outward. Has he still got his junk? The whole three piece set? Has he ever done a DNA test? Is there anything at all female about him? Just wondering.

Don’t care! However there is NO difference between her and the J6 protestors. All are political prisoners. She actually may be treated much better than our J6 people.

The late best-selling author Jason Matthews' (a personal friend) frightening prison scenes in "Red Sparrow" (20th Century Fox, 2018) were written based on his 32 years as an operative and later station chief in the CIA, including covert assignments behind the Iron Curtain in Hungary and Cuba. Matthews told me that Putin is a murderer and merciless sadist of the first order. In my opinion, Griner may live, but she better keep her mouth shut and please her captors. What a nightmare for her family.

I wonder what she did to deserve that? Was she mouthing off and acting entitled as is her usual behavior? They could have just left her in prison.

Okay, not to rock the boat, I agree she had no business refusing to stand for the National Anthem. Or hide in the dressing room til it was over. She was arrogant and thought laws didn't pertain to her. But I do feel a twinge of sympathy. Nine years is a long time and it will be hard time for her, but seems to be a bit much for the crime. And no family contact, that would drive me nuts. But in the end, she is responsible for this, she just wasn't aware that Russia is serious as he ll about their prisons. I've seen stories on it. Terrible places.

Brittney Griner is a knee taking, America hating, leftist piece of crap that despises the United States. Thank god she can now spend 9 years in the country of her dreams. No need to take a knee any more. She is at home.

Actually, #5, when I was in the Soviet Union right before the fall of the Iron Curtain, the hotels used to blast the Soviet National Anthem every morning at 6 a.m. in every room, with no way to turn it off or down.

Maybe she can bend some thick wire rod scraps into circles, attaching them to the sides of some old wooden crates and bolt them to the edge of her Gulag barracks roof. She can then abscond from the chow hall with the purloined bladder from a slaughtered mule deer to be crafted into a ball. She can then step forward to create the first Gulag Basketball League in Russia. I can sense a movie coming from this in the spirit of Sylvester Stallone's poorly received, "Escape to Victory".

Putin's message to America.
She will not be released until Putin gets everything he wants in a sweetheart deal. Perhaps not even then.
Biden said "no one effs with a Biden." Putin's response is, no one effs with a Putin.

There must be no money in her release, otherwise Zhoa and KJP would make it more of an issue.
