MSNBC legal analyst Barbara McQuade said Monday on “Deadline” that former President Donald Trump could be charged with manslaughter for his role in the January 6 Capitol riot. Discussing Liz Cheney’s comments, Anchor Nicolle Wallace said, “Let me ask you, I think what they’re saying is that even if you were that deluded, quote, ‘You may not send an armed mob to the Capitol or sit for 87 minutes and refuse to stop the attack. You may not send out a tweet that incites further violence.’ It sounds like around the violence. She’s looking at what the committee talks about as dereliction of duty.

Comments:

Now THAT is stretching things a bit too far!!

Trump Derangement Syndrome is truly a form of PTSD (my apologies for those suffering veterans). It is a disorder that has completely taken over these peoples' minds. They have separated themselves from the real world. I despise FJB and his clown car administration but not in the same manner as these obsessed people. Maybe it is more of an OCD condition than PTSD. I don't know. But I do know it has made them absolutely insane. Therapy, medication and a long rest is advised.

They’re too stupid to believe. They want to return to medieval reasoning. “Was not Trump in that city that day? And did he not invite people to attend his rally? And if he had not invited them to come and if they had not come would that death have not occurred?” Of course, they “somehow” never think “and if nasty peelousey had had adequate security would not the events have never occurred?” Or that “and if the electors who voted for Trump for for president had refused to do so would not that have prevented the rally from occurring?” What medieval lunatics.

A person can be “charged” by anyone for anything. It’s called slander. Democrats are experts at slander, and as Harry Reid impenitently pointed out, it can be very effective.

She doesn't even seem to know that no one other than Ashli Babbitt died that day, and the woman who was trampled and beaten to death in the tunnel. An example of why Sen. Cruz went on the View, as they too have not heard most of what's common knowledge on this forum. Will be nice to have the GOP holding hearings that will help many of these folks hear information they've not been allowed to hear due to the biased J6 panel controlling the production of information.

When the Left makes outrageous claims like this, right before the mid term elections, its a sign they know they are going to be shellacked. If only they had expended as much effort to do right by the country as they did in stealing the 2020 election, tsk tsk tsk. Just goes to show, all the Left care about is power and the effort to acquire it. No one ever said they knew wha tthe hell they were doing except themselves, and it shows.

On Monday, a lawsuit filed by two organizations in federal court asked a judge to prevent members of Clean Elections USA from being “within sight” of ballot drop boxes in Arizona. Plaintiffs Voto Latino and Arizona Alliance for Retired Americans represented by Elias Law Group claim that Clean Elections USA’s founder and members are intimidating voters. Though, Attorney Daniel Arrellano has not alleged violence. Arrellano implored U.S. District Court Judge John Tuchi to act immediately with just 15 days remaining in the election. The plaintiffs claim that some members of the group are known to openly carry firearms or wear tactical gear.

Joe Biden is a pathological liar. That’s easy to prove. Just about every public statement that he’s made is an outright lie. His claims about his law school career and standing were false. He claimed to have marched during the civil rights movement — a lie. He’s lied repeatedly, boldly about Hunter’s corrupt business dealings, and his intimate relationship to them. He’s spent 47 years stacking lie upon lie, building a colossal monument to his depravity and to the public’s gullibility. Biden lied about COVID, the efficacy of the “vaccine,” the necessity of lockdowns, and the utility of masks. He’s lying about the border crisis,

House Republicans have for months threatened to impeach Joe Biden and equally disastrous members of his administration for their intentional attempts to destroy America if — which is now pretty much when — the GOP retakes control of the House in the midterms, now just two weeks away. Apparently, those threats weren’t serious. At least not in Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s case. McCarthy last Wednesday downplayed talk of impeaching Biden or officials of the disastrous administration if the GOP regains control. Just one problem. Republican lawmakers have introduced more than a dozen impeachment resolutions targeting Biden, Kamala Harris, and controversial Cabinet members, including Attorney General Merrick Garland, Secretary of State Antony Blinken,

U.S. District Judge Wendy Berger refused to block Florida school districts from carrying out a new state law that restricts instruction on gender identity and sexual orientation in classrooms, rejecting arguments by parents, students, and a non-profit organization. This is the second time in less than a month that a federal judge has blocked cases that attempt to challenge the controversial law. The law bans children from being taught explicit topics such as gender identity and sexual orientation for kindergarteners through third grade. The material taught must be age-appropriate

At this point, it would save everyone time if Democrats could simply point to a policy agenda item that isn’t going to save democracy — if such a thing exists. If Republicans vote, they are killing democracy. If they don’t vote, they are killing democracy. The only way to “save democracy,” writes The Washington Post’s Max Boot, is to empower one-party rule — a position that probably sounds counterintuitive to anyone with a middle-school education. “Now you need to vote to literally save democracy again,” contends President Joe Biden, or we will lose our “fundamental rights and freedoms like the right to choose, the right to privacy, the right to vote
