Senators Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith announced bipartisan legislation Tuesday to rename a Federal Building in downtown Minneapolis in honor of the late Sen. Paul Wellstone. The senators say they are pushing for the name to be changed to the Paul D. Wellstone Federal Building. The announcement comes on the 20th anniversary of the plane crash that killed Sen. Wellstone, his wife Sheila, daughter Marcia and campaign aides Tom Lapic, Will McLaughlin, Mary McEvoy, and two pilots.

“We are absolutely seeing a surge of RSV among other respiratory viruses,” says Dr. Marissa Hendrickson, with M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital. “Emergency departments have been full, our hospital, our intensive care units have been full.” (snip) “They didn’t catch any viruses their first year of life,” she says. “Now they’re 1, they’re 2, and all of a sudden being exposed to a lot more viruses since we’re all out and about more in the world.”

Since he suffered a serious stroke, his ability to serve in the Senate has been called into question. All polls still show Fetterman ahead of Oz, though only just barely.
Perhaps that time Hillary Clinton wandered the woods alone with a bottle of wine after the 2016 election should have been seen as a red flag.
The twice-defeated presidential candidate and darling of the national press is back, and she’s crazier than ever. Two weeks before the most important off-year elections in the history of the nation isn’t a good time for Democrats to realize that the narrative that they’ve been relentlessly pushing has been a complete failure, but that’s the reality for a party that bet everything on portraying the January 6, 2021 chaos at the Capitol as a serious effort to overthrow “democracy” and is only now beginning to realize that voters could care less.
The unwelcome intrusion of reality into the bubble inhabited by the coastal cultural and political elite isn’t sitting well with many, including MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough who was flummoxed by the responses of a focus group
