A liberal North Carolina judge placed a prospective juror in jail for 24 hours for not wearing a mask in the courtroom.
Gregory Hahn, 47, along with 98 other candidates for jury orientation, showed up at the Harnett County courthouse on Monday. Most prospective jurors, including Hahn, were not wearing masks, he recalled.
“We were in [an assembly room] for about 20 to 30 minutes, shoulder-to-shoulder, with three-quarters of us not wearing masks,” Hahn told Tucker Carlson Tonight. “So the virus — if there was [a] virus out there – contaminated us anyway.”

Analysts at RealClearPolitics, who predict the probable outcomes of elections, moved New York’s gubernatorial race from “Lean Democrat” to “Toss-up” roughly three weeks before the election between Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul and Republican Rep. Lee Zeldin.
The rating change happened on Saturday, just over three weeks before the election. The polling comes as Zeldin is within six points of Hochul on the average provided by RealClearPolitics.
Zeldin is only 5.3 percent down from the Democrats, with the RealClearPolitics average showing 49 percent support for Hochul and 43.7 percent support for the Long Island Republican congressman.

Alaska Republicans are calling on the Kentucky GOP to formally censure Sen. Mitch McConnell for the bluegrass senator’s interference in the Alaskan Senate contest against the party-endorsed candidate.
On Thursday, the Alaskan Republican Party’s District 9 central committee passed a resolution to condemn the Senate minority leader’s spending on behalf of Sen. Lisa Murkowski. The incumbent senator running for a fourth full term in the upper chamber is locked in a tight contest against Donald Trump-backed challenger Kelly Tshibaka, who is also endorsed by the Alaskan Republican Party.

President Joe Biden appeared to get a little too personal while posing for pictures with a young girl and her friends on Friday.
“Now, a very important thing I told my daughters and granddaughters: ‘No serious guys until you’re 30,'” the president said while grabbing the girl’s shoulders. (Tweet/Video) “Okay,” the unidentified girl said while laughing nervously, “I’ll keep that in mind.” Another woman in the background could be heard agreeing with Biden, repeatedly saying, “At least.”
Kaden D’Almeida — who filmed the moment — appeared to be waved off by a secret service agent from filming further after the president gave his awkward relationship advice to the young girl.

Ghislaine Maxwell called BS on Prince Andrew’s assertions that he was never really that close to the convicted sex-trafficker, insisting on Saturday that he was actually a “dear friend.” (Photo) Speaking to The Mail on Sunday in a bombshell prison interview, the jailed socialite said she felt pity for Andrew: “I feel so bad for him.” (Snip) Andrew’s lawyers had argued as part of sexual abuse lawsuit filed against him by Virginia Giuffre that he was actually not even “close” to Maxwell, who was accused of grooming Giuffre for him.
But Maxwell has disputed that, saying: “Yes, I follow what is happening to him. He is paying such a price

The revelations of FBI malfeasance, egregious conduct and flagrant lies revealed over the last few days during the Durham trial expose the agency’s willingness to interfere and impede the will of the American people and the administration of the 45th president of the United States, Donald J. Trump.
The FBI is not alone in this coup perpetrated against our nation.
For years, Americans were force-fed lie after lie by the propaganda press doing the dirty work of the Obama-Biden gang

The left’s latest ploy to remake elections is a complicated scheme called “ranked-choice voting” (RCV).
Advocates claim it strengthens “majority rule” and leads to a healthier democracy, and they’ve pushed dozens of municipalities and two states to use it.
Nevada is their latest target. Voters there will decide on election day if they want to join in this nationwide experiment. If experience is any judge, they’d be wise to sit this one out.
If the measure known as Question 3 eventually passes (it would have to pass again in 2024), Nevada’s traditional election system will be upended. Party primaries will be replaced with a California-style “jungle primary.”

Ex-CNN boss Jeff Zucker and ex-MSNBC chief Phil Griffin defended ignoring the Hunter Biden story in Philadelphia last week during the Un-Convention.
While speaking on a panel, Zucker claimed CNN researched into the story of Hunter Biden’s laptop but admitted the network did not spend enough time vetting the authenticated story. CNN finally admitted 532 days Hunter’s “laptop from hell” was authentic after the initial story broke on October 24, 2020 — notably calling it “Russian disinformation” and “made up” at the time.
“We did. We did look into it. But first of all, you know, with regard to the son of the candidate,

A Rolling Stone journalist committed a mortal sin on Saturday morning, daring to tell the truth about Pennsylvania senate candidate John Fetterman.
The hits have been piling up against the Democrat after an MSNBC interview revealed that he’s far worse off cognitively than his campaign had previously revealed. The reality that he needs closed captioning, and even then, still can’t always understand what he’s responding to, left many voters feeling misled.
For months, the Fetterman campaign had insisted he was generally fine and was on track to recover completely from the massive stroke he suffered back in May. Over the last week, though, the switch flipped

Since the 2016 election cycle, Democrats have seemingly been campaigning on the central policy of stopping now-former President Donald Trump no matter the issue. While tough talk may garner House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) significant applause at sycophantic late-night shows, voters from her own party were far from agreeing with the lawmaker on the likely outcome of the midterms. (Video) Pandering as Democrats so often do, Pelosi joined CBS’ “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” in early October as part of a pitch to drum up support and talk smack about Republicans. Unlike the production would have viewers believe,

Former CNN and MSNBC executives sat down with Michael Smerconish and were pressed on their lack of coverage for the Hunter Biden story prior to the 2020 election.“[There’s a] controversy that you may think is bull***,” Smerconish said. “Let me give you an example. I believe — they know this, because I talked about it on air. I think that the Hunter laptop was worthy of more airing than it received right before the election. Either of you agree with me on that? Do you regret? How about — if I ask you this way, specifically, do you regret not dealing with it before the election?”
