New York City’s Mayor Eric Adams wants $1 billion from other Americans to subsidize the city’s economic strategy of importing penniless immigrants for use by New York’s business leaders. “We need help—and we need to now,” Democratic Mayor Eric Adams said in a Friday press conference, adding: Today we’re issuing a clear message—[the] time for aid to New York is now. We need help from the federal government. We ned help from the state of New York. Our city is doing our part and now others must step up and join us …. We need those to come through.(Snip)“We expect to spend at least $1 billion

Comments:

Ridiculous. Marxist advocates insist that Migrants provide cultural enrichment and generate far more resources than they consume, never mind that it's an outright lie. So in fairness, NYC should be paying the rest of us for providing them.

The Democrat big city Mayors do not want to rid of the illegal aliens from their cities, what they want is for Biden, the DC Democrats, and some RINOS to send them and the local Democrat aligned non-governmental organizations (NGOS) who make their livings supporting mass uncontrolled illegal immigration, as many billions of federal dollars as possible, to both defray the growing local costs of dealing with illegal aliens, and to feed the local Democrat big city public corruption games. What the Democrats absolutely figure is that when the next US Census comes around that all the illegal aliens who have boosted up their so-called minority population groups will be counted in that federal census. Resulting in a yet undetermined number of congressional district seats to be redistricted from other areas of the country that have stable populations into the Democrat run big cities and suburbs that have greatly raising populations due to many millions of illegal aliens being counted in the census, making it much easier in those Democrat favoring cities and suburbs for Democrat candidates to win the resulting elections. That gives the Democrats a much greater chance in the scheme of things to maintain a majority position in the House of Representatives which means that they will have a permanent lock on control of that congressional body. From the looks of it, does not appear that the wimpy Republicans have a clue, and will not have, until it is announced that a number of safe Republican congressional seats are being redistricted into Democrat favoring areas where Republican candidates will have little chance to win future elections. The wimpy Republicans have not been called the stupid party for nothing.

As of 3 weeks ago, 11000 immigrants have been sent to NYC. So let's round that up to 16,000 today. That works out to 62,500$ per immigrant. Someone is looking to pad their budget. And wouldn't 1st class tickets back to their country of origin be sooooooo much cheaper, both in the short and long term?
