A Jersey City fugitive from justice made herself easy to find. She applied for a job with the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office, the law enforcement agency that specializes in picking people wanted for outstanding warrants [snip] Schillari said the United States Postal Investigative Service has also launched an investigation, since Johnson previously worked for the postal service. She is currently being held in Hudson County jail in Kearny awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.

Comments:

The kicker is that she had felony charges and warrants out the wazoo which apparently wasn’t a problem for her former employer - The US Postal Service. Beam Me Up, Scotty!

Doesn't surprise me that she worked for the USPS. I am a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Our monthly magazine has to be mailed in a plain wrapper because the criminal drongos working for the post office were throwing them away as soon as they saw them.

New Jersey has banned police officers from lingering around polling stations and ballot drop boxes on election days under a new law that advocates argued was needed to protect against voter intimidation. Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy signed the Democratic-sponsored bill into law earlier in the week after it passed the Democratic-controlled state Legislature mostly along party lines. It says both plain-clothed or uniformed police need to keep at least 100 feet from polling stations or drop boxes.

Donald trump is a man consumed with grievance against people he believes have betrayed him, but few betrayals have enraged him more than what his attorney general did to him. First Lady Jill Biden offered a rare personal glimpse into her views on abortion during a political fundraiser in San Francisco on Friday, retelling the story of how her mother helped care for a teenage friend who got an abortion 60 years ago. Biden, who was 17 at the time, said her friend didn’t want to be pregnant, but learned that a doctor would only perform an abortion if she underwent a psychiatric evaluation and was declared mentally unfit. It was the late 1960s, before the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision, and abortion was illegal in Pennsylvania, where she

Sen. Mitch McConnell has no excuse. The ads his political group is producing to attack Alaska Republican Senate candidate Kelly Tshibaka are beyond the pale. Campaign attacks intensify in October because as the election runway gets shorter, it takes a sharp message to catch voters’ attention and seal the deal. But the money being spent by McConnell and his Senate Leadership Fund to attack a fellow Republican — one who may win and join the Senate to be his colleague — should shock the sensibilities of all conservatives. And it is shocking Alaskans, indeed. McConnell’s determination to destroy another Republican’s reputation is driving Alaskans away from the Republican Party
