The White House on Tuesday announced plans to provide another $625 million in military aid to Ukraine—including advanced HIMARS rocket systems that have proved crucial in pushing back Russian forces.
Details emerged after President Joe Biden spoke to his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky, to reassure him that the U.S. would not recognize Russia's annexation of parts of Ukraine. It brings the total American assistance to more than $16.8 billion since Russia invaded Ukraine in February. The two leaders were joined by Vice President Kamala Harris on the call, which came as Russian forces suffered further setbacks near the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson. The munitions they are giving are outdated and past their shelf life; many of them fail to detonate. This is fuel for the global military-industrial complex because now there is money in the budget to replace all the old stuff being given away for much more expensive updated munitions. Mitch and Rove are high-fiving and doing the shuffle dance and moon walking.

The people behind our dummy president are itching for a war, I think they want a nuclear war, and they are doing all possible to get Putin to fire the first salvo. And we get to die, suffer radiation poisoning and possibly end up with a derelict country.
And to think that two years ago we had a President who did not get us involved in a war. Not only that, he put the country on a road to good health in every way.
Why are we letting the dummy do this to us? Did we end up with laws that prevented the opposition party from saving us?

I do not believe anything that is reported about this conflict. I believe everyone is lying for their own benefit. I believe this is a Western"leadership" war of choice which could have been avoided and should have be resolved months ago. I am no Putin supporter but I believe he is not the only bogeyman involved.
What really disgusts me is the left accuses the right of fascism while they and their corporate buds control and cancel anyone who dares disagree with them

The Russians have been steadily driven back in the north, about 4,000+ square kilometers recaptured by Ukrainian forces and now the Ukrainians are taking back Kherson.
Good news.

Listen, if Biden manages to get some part of Ukraine, at any cost whatsoever in Russian loss of life, does anybody here think he will stop? he is going to go on until stopped. Why not right now. He wants the Baltics, he wants Poland, apparently Armenia is known to be worrying he wants to annex them too. All those who think this is not our fight, could you step up and state where you think he intends to stop his land grabs? Please include in your answer reference to Crimea in 2014, Georgia in 2008, and his fond recollection of the Soviet Union - Warsaw 1944, Hungary 1956, Prague 1968, Afghanistan in 1979... and to build credibility pls acknowledge Russia long standing interest in Istanbul and dreams today of leading Christendom and the lack of clarity re what they intend to do about other leaders of Christendom. Else your indifference to Ukraine doesn't look particularly wise.

I'm amazed and saddened by the shallow, ill informed, foolish commentary on this topic. Spend some time looking at the videos and stills and interviews with knowledgeable experts who are NOT Americans and NOT Russians.
The truth is out there and those who just skim the surface, and take the lazy approach, are just perfect for absorbing disinformation and misinformation.

No accountability. Where's the money going? Joe just writes one of our checks never telling the source why? Could it be black mail pay off? You know...He pays (tax payer money) the Ukraine crooks with the understanding "they" will not rat him out." National security risk.

Trump was allocated only $5 billion of the $20 billion he wanted for a border wall, but there's endless funding available for the Ukraine, which has nothing whatsoever to do with US security. Hand it to the Democrats, the most powerful political party in the USA by far.
