The Biden administration on Saturday launched a new national office dubbed the “Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights” charged with addressing what some officials say are the disproportionate harms inflicted on low-income areas and communities of color by pollution and climate change. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA),(snip)announced that the new office “will position the agency to better advance environmental justice, enforce civil rights laws in overburdened communities, and deliver new grants and technical assistance.” (snip) oversee a portion of Democrats’ $60 billion investment in environmental justice initiatives created by the Inflation Reduction Act—specifically, the implementation and delivery of $3 billion in block grants to underserved communities

"But that's unconstitutional!," we'll say. "Shut down the EPA," we'll also say. So where is the Republican who will do this? President Trump certainly didn't, despite all of our wishful thinking to the contrary. Most of these agencies and departments should not exist, and because they're dominated by radical Marxists they are actively weaponized against we the people and they're spending us into certain insolvency.

brand new gravy train! The poverty pimps have a new source of money. And Black Studies progrms around the country can modify their course offerings to include a concentrtion in External Civil Rights or Environmental Justice. Sweet deal. And the Educarion agency will be able to create fellowships and scholarships for students of color. And those students of color will earn graduate degrees, in the two bogus concentrations, to be hired by expanded Black Studies programs around the U.S.

Democrat Bennie Thompson, chairman of the Homeland Security committee, sent a letter to the knucklehead Biden appointed as Secretary of Homeland Security, demanding that the department investigate Republican Governor Ron DeSantis over the deportation of illegal aliens to Martha's Vineyard. This is the latest effort by Democrats to use the Fascist Bureau of Intimidation to criminalize political dissent. They spied on Trump when he was a candidate. They turned a peaceful protest at the National Mall into a Fake Insurrection by opening the heavy Capitol doors to protesters. They confiscated the cellphones of dozens of Trump officials. A small but groundbreaking study (available here) has been released at the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) Pediatrics, demonstrating that trace amounts of COVID-19 vaccine mRNA were found in the breastmilk of lactating women as soon as one hour after vaccination. This study was conducted from February to October 2020 (more on that in a moment), and included only 11 lactating women, 5 of whom received the Moderna vaccine and 6 of whom received the Pfizer vaccine. The comparison was made between their pre-vaccine breastmilk (the control) and post-vaccine breastmilk.

Special Counsel John Durham continues to ignore the FBI’s malfeasance in the Crossfire Hurricane targeting of Donald Trump, a Friday court filing by prosecutors in the criminal case against Igor Danchenko confirms. While that approach may have been prudent and in the country’s best interests three and a half years ago, when then-Attorney General Bill Barr tasked Durham to investigate the origins of the Russia collusion hoax, it is no longer judicious. The special counsel’s failure to appreciate this reality threatens the government’s case against Danchenko, but more significantly has spurred the Biden administration, the D.C. deep state, and partisan state officials to further weaponize the criminal justice system

“A blessing in disguise.” Those words from a Democratic political consultant refer to the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade, which he described as giving “Democrats a renewed optimism about this year.” In Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the court returned the question to the citizenry to determine whether there is a right to abortion in any given state. What happened next, though, is a bit curious: Most Democratic politicians, including President Joe Biden, are declaring that a woman alone should make any decision in consultation with her doctor — an absolute interpretation of the right that was not supported in Roe and that runs counter to the view

California finds itself on edge more than ever with a lingering fear: the threat of rolling blackouts for years to come. Despite new power plants, building huge battery storage systems and restarting some shuttered fossil fuel generators over the past couple of years, California relies heavily on energy from other states — the cavalry rushing over a distant hill. Sometimes the support does not show up when expected or at all. That was the case this month, when millions of residents got cellphone alerts urging them to cut their energy use as the state teetered close to blackouts in blazing heat.
