Democrats See Red After Latest Major Poll
Flips the Narrative

As an election watcher, the last several months have been mind-numbing to live through. Despite every historical fundamental pointing to a Republican win in November, the predominant narrative has been that Democrats are resurgent due to Dobbs. Election modelers have even started adding scam PAC polls into their averages just to toss an extra bit of absurdity on top. It’s truly been garbage in, garbage out, as most major pollsters continue to use registered voter screens instead of likely voter screens, something that leads to a projection of a positive Democrat environment. So what’s the narrative? You are supposed to believe that the sizable GOP turnout advantage during the primaries won’t translate

None of it really matters if the democrats cheat again and the republicans bury their heads in the sand and quake in fear again.

And economic news in the near future will probably be bleak for the Demmies. Interest rates going up, gas prices creeping up, GDP could be negative again, and unemployment will most likely tick up. Joe-Joe ''peaked'' too soon.

Republicans are neither sitting on their hands or burying their heads in the sand/quaking in fear. They are willing accomplices and active participants in the fraud, corruption, and steal. Vote MAGA anywhere you can, but make sure they're really MAGA.

Here is something else they can worry about: Today our Southern California community’s cheapest regular unleaded (Arco) is $5.27, up $.22 since Friday. A mile away, a popular Chevron station is back to $6.49 for self-serve regular unleaded. Newsom is sending every driver $500 gas money right before the election.

California Governor Gavin Newsom insists he will not run for President in 2024. That’s hard to believe after his ads and billboards in red states, as well as his “feud” with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. This is not the first time Newsom has said something or promised something and broken it, just like his promise to end homelessness in 10 years … which he promised in 2008. Homelessness has only worsened in California under Newsom’s watch. Former candidate for Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors District 1, and outraged citizen, Kevin Dalton, tweeted: On Saturday, during an interview at the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin, Newsom was asked whether

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) said he worries about Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), asserting that the Sunshine State’s leader is a “bully.” Newsom traveled to Texas — notably one of the states subject to California’s ban on “state-funded and state-sponsored travel” — over the weekend, speaking at the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin where he further expressed his newfound obsession with disliking DeSantis. “I worry about Trump.  [I] worry about Trumpism. I worry more about Tucker Carlson. I worry about Ron DeSantis. He’s a bully,” Newsom said, attempting to provide an example of such abominable behavior.

If you have the feeling that liberals would like to kill you, you aren’t paranoid. You are catching on. Around the world, we are seeing increasingly violent talk from the Left. All too often, that talk has led to violent action. When Congressman and Senate candidate Tim Ryan says “we’ve got to kill and confront” the movement of “extremist Republicans,” you are right if you think he means you. This liberal outrage comes from the U.K.: a video game in which you try to kill Margaret Thatcher. The game is endorsed by a former leader of the Labour Party:

That’s why, in this era of pandemics and closed borders, we’re applying for dual US-Russian citizenship,” Snowden wrote on Twitter. “Lindsay and I will remain Americans, raising our son with all the values of the America we love, including the freedom to speak his mind.

Ron DeSantis is running for president. He has as much as admitted it, although he hasn’t done the obligatory visits to Iowa and New Hampshire. 2024 should be his time and it would be a waste if he didn’t run. Governor DeSantis doesn’t have to announce yet. The contenders for the nominations are former president Trump or DeSantis. Everybody else is an also-ran. Trump, should he decide to run, can count on residual loyalty. DeSantis can appeal to voters as a younger, more vital, less controversial, and arguably more politically savvy alternative. Trump commands attention, but that attention tends to draw focus to himself. DeSantis commands attention, but

As we reported earlier, the new ABC/WaPo poll is just a wasteland for the Democrats. The poll of likely voters had Joe Biden back down at 39 percent approval, the generic ballot at Republicans +5 (51 percent to 46 percent). The economy was the number one issue for 84 percent of the people in their decision on who to vote for Congress, with 74 percent saying the state of the economy was poor under Biden. On top of that, the numbers as to who they trust show them favoring the GOP by massive amounts on the most important issues in this race: economy (+17), inflation (+18), and crime (+22). I have been saying all along that Joe Biden’s job approval numbers are inflated. There is no way that anything like 40 percent of voters observe what has happened over the last two years and say, “Great job, Joe!” I think his approval numbers are buoyed by Democrats who know he is a lousy president, but stick up for their party when a pollster calls. This ABC News/Washington Post poll supports that hypothesis. It finds that only 35% of Democrats want Biden to be their party’s nominee in 2024. That implies, I think, an overall approval rating of no more than 30 percent, which is one reason why the midterms are going

Italians were voting Sunday in national elections in which the far-right Brothers of Italy party -- led by Giorgia Meloni -- appears poised to make big gains after the collapse of two governments since the last election. Her ultra-conservative party, whose origins lie in post-war fascism, currently controls just two of Italy's 20 regions, having won just 4.5% of the vote in the 2018 elections. But since the collapse of former Prime Minister Mario Draghi's coalition earlier this year -- which triggered the snap election -- the Brothers of Italy have only surged in popularity, with recent polling suggesting nearly a quarter of the electorate backs her.

On reading about the Saturday arrest of pro-life activist Mark Houck, I thought the author at this alternative site had to be exaggerating. It struck me as beyond belief that two dozen or so armed FBI agents would swarm the house of a Catholic father of seven, rifles drawn, and arrest him in front of his weeping children for anything short of murder. I have had to recalibrate my belief system. The “crime” fell quite a bit short of murder.
