This claim: “Under the burdens of capitalism . . . we’re not having kids.” — Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Tuesday We say: Socialist AOC thinks capitalism creates “burdens” that depress birth rates, but free markets are the best way to pull a nation out of poverty — and it’s the better-off who have fewer kids. Then again, even the poor in America are far wealthier than most of mankind throughout history. Oh, and by the way: More-socialist Europe’s birth rates are lower than those in the US. This barb: “What is (Nikki Haley’s) real name again?” — Sunny Hostin, Tuesday We say: The View’s Sunny (Asunción) Hostin stepped in it again, this time suggesting Republican Nikki Haley

I worked in an elementary and a middle school library for the past 22 years. I have seen every name under the sun. Many could not be pronounced (and I am not talking about children from a country other than America) or spelled phonetically. I have never seen so many names illogically constructed out of the American alphabet. Many with hyphens and apostrophes put in odd places. You want to make a guess whom I am talking about, Sunny (if that is your REAL name)?

How many here have children/grandchildren who have no children? DINKs (Dual Income No Kids) is the new way to affluence, and it's "greener". How many here have ever uttered the opinion that they would hate to bring kids into today's world? I've heard that all my life (and I'm not young, either). White birthrates are down worldwide, more so in developed countries/societies where women have passions for careers, wanting to life the good life unfettered by children. Easier to put their dog in a posh kennel for that bucket list vacation.

People like AOC and Sunny Hostin say the most stupid things that are treated as philosophical wonders by the fawning media. They are in good company with their ideological leader, Kamala Harris in the stupid comment department. They all use lots of words to say absolutely nothing or babble on and on ranting about things they know nothing about like they are some sort of rocket scientist. They must all think that their brilliance is measured in the incomprehensibility and of their statements.

Facebook’s ban of former President Donald Trump may be lifted in January 2023, a company executive suggested in an interview. Facebook Global Affairs President Nick Clegg told startup news company Semafor during a Sept. 22 event that his platform might allow Trump back on the platform in January 2023, when Trump’s two-year suspension expires. “When you make a decision that affects the public realm, you need to act with great caution,” Clegg reportedly said, explaining that Facebook will consult “experts” and consider the supposed “risk of real world harm,”

President Joe Biden attacked House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy's 'thin' Commitment to American and mocked him for saying 'with a straight face' that he 'will restore faith' in American elections, in another speech attacking MAGA Republicans. Biden appeared before a crowd at the National Education Association headquarters in Washington Friday afternoon for a Democratic National Committee political event, where he devoted significant attention to McCarthy and House Republicans' appearance in Pennsylvania earlier. 'After opposing and obstructing everything we tried to do to stop progress for the last two years, the House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy went to Pennsylvania and unveiled what he calls a "Commitment to America,"' Biden remarked. Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s latest anti-Israel slur highlights yet again just how far Democrats have strayed. Once upon a time, they wouldn’t have tolerated such outrageous attacks on the Jewish state. Today, Tlaib is just one of several Dems who repeatedly lie about Israel and push for its demise. “You cannot claim to hold progressives values yet back Israel’s apartheid government,” Tlaib said Tuesday. Yet the suggestion that Jerusalem is under an “apartheid government” is beyond outrageous: Israel welcomes people of all faiths and backgrounds.

President Joe Biden called out Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) for proposing a bill titled “Protecting Pain-Capable Unborn Children from Late-Term Abortions Act,” which would prohibit abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy, except in cases of rape, incest, or to save the life of the mother. During a speech, Biden claimed that the Catholic Church wouldn’t agree with not aborting unborn babies past 15 weeks of pregnancy, despite the Bible’s assertion that from the womb to tomb, life should be protected. “From the first moment of his existence, a human being must be recognized as having the rights of a person –

The average American has lost $4,200 in income due to soaring inflation and rising interest rates, according to an analysis by the Heritage Foundation. Experts at the right-leaning think tank analyzed consumer prices data and the Federal Reserve's interest rates. Consumer prices have risen 12.7 percent since 2021, far outpacing wages and Heritage experts believe this has cost Americans about $3,000 each in purchasing power. As the Fed pushes interest rates to a range of 3-3.25 percent, higher borrowing costs are squeezing Americans on mortgages, vehicle loans and credit cards, costing another $1,200 per year.

The House on Wednesday passed a bill to reform the Electoral Count Act in ways Liz Cheney and other proponents say would clarify that the vice president's role in counting electoral votes is purely ceremonial, and is meant to head off future efforts to try to overturn election results. It cleared the chamber on a mostly party-line vote, 229-203, with nine Republicans joining all Democrats to vote for it, even as Republican leaders 'whipped' against the bill. 'This bill will prevent Congress from illegally choosing the president itself,' said Cheney (R-Wyo.), who coauthored the bill with Democratic Rep. Zoe Lofgren (Calif.),

The far-left state of California further embraced neo-paganism this week when Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill into law allowing the practice of composting dead human beings to better combat climate change. Citing the high CO2 emissions associated with cremation, the bill will give people the option to give their dead remains over to a process known as natural organic reduction (NOR) should they not want to be buried or cremated. “The process involves placing the body inside a long, reusable steel container along with wood chips and flowers to aerate it – allowing microbes and bacteria to break down the remains,” according to the Daily Mail.

The end is near. For Putin’s military options in Ukraine, that is. Wednesday in Moscow, Putin said he will call up reservists and hold political referenda in captured Ukrainian territory. And yet again, he threatened to use nuclear weapons if Russian territory is in danger. Despite the scary language, Putin is not fooling anybody in NATO. Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg lost no time pointing out that Russia doesn’t have enough weapons to equip more troops. White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby immediately said the speech showed Putin was struggling. And at the UN, President Biden denounced Putin’s war. The slide presentation titled, "Diversity & Inclusion: What it is, why we care, & what we can do," obtained by Fox News Digital, advises cadets to use "person-centered" and gender-neutral language when describing individuals. "Some families are headed by single parents, grandparents, foster parents, two moms, two dads, etc.: consider ‘parent or caregiver’ instead of ‘mom and dad,'" the presentation states. "Use words that include all genders: ‘Folks’ or ‘Y’all’ instead of ‘guys’; ‘partner’ vs. ‘boyfriend or girlfriend.’"
