Washington — A federal appeals court on Wednesday granted a request from the Justice Department to allow its investigators to regain access to the roughly 100 documents bearing classification markings that were seized by the FBI during its search at former President Donald Trump's Florida residence. A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit agreed to put on hold a lower court's order that kept the subset of sensitive records off-limits for the Justice Department to use for investigative purposes, pending the review of the materials by an independent arbiter known as a special master. In 1956, the USAF required me to go through training in order to drive a military vehicle. One of the miscellaneous pamplets handed out in the training session had to do with the lubrication of a 6 by 6 truck. The pamphlet was marked 'confidential.' Newspaper articles are often classified. In fact, much of the intelligence analysis taking place in D.C., has to do with reading newspapers and magazines. There is nothing here except the continuing smearing of DJT.

In the false Washington Port report posted on Tuesday titled “Trump’s ‘big lie’ fueled a new generation of social media influencers,” Dwoskin and Jeremy B. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) leads Rep. Charlie Crist (D-FL) by double digits in Florida’s gubernatorial race, a recent Echelon Insights survey found. The survey asked respondents who they would vote for if the gubernatorial race were held today. DeSantis enjoys a ten-point advantage, leading Crist 52 percent to 42 percent. The Republican governor also enjoys more certainty among respondents, as 43 percent said they will “definitely” vote for him, compared to 31 percent who said the same for Crist. A poll from USA TODAY/Suffolk also found DeSantis comfortably leading his Democrat challenger by seven percentage points, or 48 percent to 41 percent.

The Texas governor's race is widening still, according to a new Spectrum News/Siena College poll released Thursday, the Houston Chronicle reports. Per the survey, incumbent Gov. Greg Abbott (R) is pulling further ahead of Democratic challenger Beto O'Rourke, who has long been considered the underdog of the race. "Gov. Abbott, who won a landslide 13-point race against Democratic challenger Lupe Valdez four years ago, has a 7-point lead with over six weeks until Election Day," said Siena College Research Institute Director Don Levy, per the Chronicle. Abbott is up 50-43 over O'Rourke, the poll indicated. "Abbott has the support of 95 percent of Republicans, and O'Rourke has the support of 93 percent

Miami - President Joe Biden is coming to Florida next week to campaign with Charlie Crist as he tries to unseat Gov. Ron DeSantis in a battleground state that has increasingly become a Republican stronghold. But Democratic Senate candidate Val Demings won’t be there Tuesday to meet the president in her hometown, Orlando. The divergent whereabouts of the two candidates says as much about their respective campaigns as it does about Democrats' approach-or-avoid conflict with the president, whose approval ratings remain underwater as he nevertheless regains his popularity and starts hitting the campaign trail in the final weeks leading up to the Nov. 8 midterm election. J.P. Morgan Chase chief Jamie Dimon on Wednesday rejected in the strongest terms the idea that the country’s largest banks should stop funding new oil and gas production and exploration. The chief executive of the largest U.S. bank was testifying before a House panel with other bank executives. Representative Rashida Tlaib, the Michigan Democrat, claimed that preventing temperatures from rising more than 2.7 degrees in the coming decades would require no new fossil fuel production. “Please answer, yes or no. Does your bank have a policy against funding new oil and gas products?” Tlaib asked. “Absolutely not and that would be the road to Hell for America,” said Dimon.

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon knocked President Joe Biden’s student loan forgiveness, charging it will do little to fix the ongoing problem. Dimon called the program “badly done” when speaking before a U.S. House panel with other large bank CEOs on Wednesday. “I wish they had targeted the people who actually needed help,” Dimon said. “They still haven’t fixed the underwriting and they haven’t fixed the cost of college.” “We basically put a Band-Aid on, spent a lot of money and didn’t fix the problem,” he added. President Biden’s plan would essentially give up to $20,000 in student loan cancellation to Americans earning less than $125,000

Voters trust the Republican Party over Democrats by a wide margin on the economy and economic issues ahead of the November midterm elections, a Morning Consult poll revealed Tuesday. The poll is bad news for Democrats because President Joe Biden’s rescissory economy is the number one issue for voters. By a margin of eight points (46-38 percent), respondents trusted Republicans over Democrats on the economy. Republicans were trusted five percent (45-40 percent) more on the issue of creating economic opportunity through employment than Democrats. Voters also trust Republicans by ten points to solve Biden’s soaring inflation (46-36 percent) over Democrats.

That adds to the 119 bodies last year. Each costs money to gather, handle and autopsy. The sheriff said the county spends hundreds of thousands of dollars to do that work.
