With just 50 days until the November 8 election Gov. Greg Abbott extended his lead to nine percentage points over Democratic challenger Beto O'Rourke, according to a new poll released Monday. The poll from the University of Texas at Tyler and the Dallas Morning News shows the Republican governor with a 47% to 38% lead heading into this November's election. 1,268 voters responded to the poll from Sept. 6-13. The poll's margin of error was +/- 2.8%. In addition to the two major party candidates, the Green Party's Delilah Barrios and Libertarian candidate Mark Tippets each earned 3%. Just 2% of

If you exclude the ILLEGALS voting for Beto, the 9 point difference is much larger.

I guess anyone could extend their lead over O’Dork. Remember he wants to take away your AR-15’s because the velocity of their rounds is 10x any other weapon. Plus they kill way too many people.

Don't worry no matter how bad Beto loses he'll be back to run for something else as long as his father/law provides.

It is embarrassing that anyone from Texas will vote for this fake Hispanic. His funding has been from his wife's daddy and out-of-staters. His policy proposals may fly in Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas but then all of these are no longer places of common sense. I love that he and other Dems are losing the Hispanic voters who still support Christianity, family, and traditional virtues.

Robert Francis Beto-the-faux-Mexican O'Rourke is running a really stupid commercial over and over again right now. It shows an older couple where the wife is a lifetime Demon-Rat and the husband is a lifetime Republican. But because of the abortion laws in Texas, the husband says that Abbott is too radical and "we need a governor for all Texans -- and that is Beto".
It is a terrible and totally unbelievable ad, and I'm guessing that probably cost Beto-the-faux-Mexican several points in the latest poling.

Everyone has known a Beto type in their life. A stupid blowhard that spouts off without thinking. This one happens to be a liberal.

If there is a more pathetic, worthless, ludicrous individual in national politics, please post his/her name here for further discussion.
Thank you.

Anybody with a lick of sense would guess that Beto's real status is in the single digits. The skateboard-riding putz just doesn't have the intelligence, leadership ability or personal appeal to coach a kiddie soccer team. Just like Stacey Abrams, his ambition exceeds his ability.

Who on Earth are these 38%? Are they stoned, high, or on crack??? As noted, the real number is considerably lower, I'm certain.

In Georgia, Stacey is our Beto. Both enjoyed limited success in the previous election and both will lost by wide margins this election.

Don't believe Beto is as high in the polls as they say. I have lots of family in Texas and none would vote for a Democrat ever.

The media is doing its damndest to prop up Beavis O'Dork.... he is such a fake
Their campaign effort seems to be focused on making people angry about the Dobbs decision on abortion, and on mainstreaming socialism going back to the well-worn playbook of looking out for the "little guy" against the tyranny of others economically against them because they are some sort of agrieved minority or being bullied by normal people.
Of course, ONLY those who follow the fake Mexican are smart enough, and wise enough to trample over individual citizens because they don't seem to know how lucky they are to have them look out for us...

Beto has nothing going. His campaign is a few ads. One is laughable, highlighting a supposedly lifelong Republican white fellow who's angry over abortion laws that ban the practice? A lifelong Republican who apparently now supports abortion under certain circumstances. Funniest thing is the crumpled Trump bumper sticker apparently taped to the tailgate of his pick-up. Yeah, I'm convinced.

I'm guessing all the 'new immigrants' flooding El Beto's home town of El Paso are knocking the legs out from under his base of support.
