Following the incident in Minnesota during which agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation blocked his vehicle at a Hardee’s drive-through and seized his phone, Lindell made an appearance on Steve Bannon’s War Room. He announced that he was filing a lawsuit against the FBI and the government. You can watch Lindell’s conversation with Bannon posted by The Post Millennial below. Lindell makes the point that his phone is what he uses to run his company and that it even controls his hearing aids. I’ve always detested people who make facile comparisons of anything that goes on in the U.S. to the manifold horrors of Nazi Germany. The freedoms and privileges we’ve enjoyed in this extraordinary nation made even the worst problems we’ve experienced pale in comparison to the brutality and death perpetrated by the Third Reich. To my mind, drawing parallels between them is a cheap, insulting, and wholly illegitimate way of gaining quick attention.

According to Department of Justice sources, Facebook has been spying on the private messages and data of Americans who questioned the 2020 election results and reporting them to the FBI.
Since the election, Facebook has worked in conjunction with the FBI to report on “subversive” private messages, sending them to the FBI’s domestic terrorism operational unit, supposedly in redacted form, a direct violation of Americans’ First and Fourth Amendment rights.
“It was done outside the legal process and without probable cause,” one of the sources told the New York Post. “Facebook provides the FBI with private conversations which are protected by the First Amendment without any subpoena.”

I heard only two weeks ago about a grandmother in New Orleans, Linda Frickey, 73, who was carjacked in March after taking a break from work to put something in her car. When the carjackers rushed the car and drove off, Frickey got tangled in the seatbelt and was dragged for one block as her clothes were being torn off.
According to witness Leanne Mascar, after a neighbor frantically screamed to let her go, the carjackers “slowed down and opened the door to kick her out.” Naked and with her arm severed, that grandmother bled to death in the street.

Wine legend Fred Franzia — creator of the iconic
“Two Buck Chuck’ blend” — has died. He was 79.
Franzia was a founding partner and CEO of Bronco Wine Company. On Tuesday night, the company’s Facebook page announced his death. “Fred passed early this morning at his Redwood home in Denair, California, with family by his side,” they wrote.
He, along with his brother and cousin, started the company in 1973 with the intent to make wine accessible for daily consumption.
When asked how Bronco Wine Company can sell wine less expensive than a bottle of water, Franzia quipped, “They’re overcharging for the water — don’t you get it?”
Disgraced R&B star R. Kelly was convicted on federal child pornography charges Wednesday for making videos of himself abusing his 14-year-old goddaughter.
The verdict followed a monthlong trial in Chicago, Kelly’s hometown, where jurors were shown excerpts of the disturbing footage and heard testimony from the victim, now 37, who was identified only as “Jane.”

Conservatives have been defending Trump with these kinds of arguments ever since the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago last month. They’re missing the point, though. Seeking to prove that Trump did nothing wrong in possessing these documents is like trying to establish that the victims of Stalin’s show trials weren’t in fact Trotskyites. Well, of course they weren’t.
But Stalin didn’t care if his enemies – perceived or real – were Trotskyites or “counter-revolutionaries.” What mattered to him was that they were his enemies.
