The death of the Queen in Scotland has triggered contingency plans known as Operation Unicorn.
Part of the long-held so-called London Bridge arrangements for the aftermath of Elizabeth's death, Unicorn sets in motion additional ceremonial events in Edinburgh ahead of the logistics of moving the Queen's coffin back to London.
The Earl Marshal who is in charge of the plans will, along with royal aides and the Government, be rapidly adjusting the overarching timetable to incorporate the Scottish element, as the military, clergy and police turn their attention to the immense practicalities.
The royal family has already made the urgent dash to Balmoral, with Charles - the new king -

So President Joe ripped one, loud and proud, in front of the King’s wife. Will he return for an encore?

Sad times. She was a living link to the great generation of WW2. My father, a USN fighter pilot in the war, and my wife's father, a US Army Air Corps in England during the war are both gone for years.
Fewer and fewer of the generation that fought the last world war are still around, although we have a lot of good interviews with them still preserved in online videos.
May God continue to bless Elizabeth, and hopefully He can guide her idiot son to not be as destructive as his impulses, fed by MMGW scam fake science.

At least William won't have to wait as long as Charles did to take the throne. Maybe the Queen planned it that way.

When a person who is 96 dies it is neither sad nor tragic. She had everything she wanted in life simply because of birth. Didn't have to work a day. I do admire her for what she did in WWII. When the Germans were bombing England and many thought they would soon conquer she refused to leave and served in their army as an auto mechanic. Strange that she lived much longer than her sister. RIP.

I walked away from my computer before because I knew this coming and didn't want to read it. And now with great sadness I Have. She was the best example of a monarch. Rest in Peace Dear Lady.

On Charles' behalf.
When Queen Victoria died, everyone (including his mother) was sure her son and successor, Edward (VII), would be a horrible king. As it turned out, the younger oak, no longer in the shadow of the older one, grew into a quite acceptable king.
We can all hope and pray that Charles also makes good use of his time no longer in his mother's shadow.

The future of the western world rises not on who or who is not the King of England. Both Charles and William are lefties who showed exceedingly bad judgement slobbering over the Obamas and treating one of America’s AND BRITAIN’s best Presidents with cool politeness on two visits. Charles has the genes to live a good long time. He will not put up with the family sleaze Andrew and his shack up as his mother did. He will probably make some long-needed expenditure cuts in the running of the monarchy. These are good things and we can pray he does well!!

With Elizabeth's passing and the succession of Charlie, we now have in common both countries are led by idiots.

Seriously, #6. She worked EVERY day, including when she was away from the palace. Do a little research on the Red Box.
It’s not strange that she lived so much longer than Margaret. Her sister was a drunk, a prescription druggie and a chain smoker.

Take very good care of Charles and William and his family because Harry and Meg are waiting in the wings.
