The Anti-Defamation League Center on Extremism pored over more than 38,000 names on leaked Oath Keepers membership lists and identified more than 370 people it believes currently work in law enforcement agencies—including as police chiefs and sheriffs—and more than 100 people who are currently members of the military. It also identified more than 80 people who were running for

Question: when a large number of people voluntarily join a group with certain ideals and philosophies, is it extreme? Or are those shocked by it, extreme?

Remember the old days when keeping an oath, a promise was considered a good thing?

The Associated Press in not our friend.
It appears also the the AP thinks individuals who have made an oath ought consider it binding.
I have taken an oath when married. I it wrong to keep it ?
I have been baptized just after my birth. Does that men my parents should not be honored?
I have testified in a courtroom after taking an oath. Should I have lied?
As I am a Priest I have sworn to keep silent about what sinners confess to God in my presence. I am prepared for arrest or death rather than do otherwise.

Shortly after the J6 Committee began their hearings TK received a phone call from a local reporter. She found his name on the list of members of the Oath Keepers. He signed up when the organization first started back in the Tea Party days and has had no further contact. He told the gal he's a Marine Corps veteran, LAPD veteran and CA Army National Guard veteran. He took the oath to defend the United States Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic, and that oath has no expiration date. That was the extent of the conversation.

I haven't trusted the Associated Press since it fawned over Barack Obama years ago.

These are the people who promised years ago to uphold their oaths to the Constitution, no matter how the government Ii.e., the Left) pressured them to do otherwise. It has seemingly been subverted by the very forces it was created to oppose.

Isn't it amazing how only info on conservatives gets leaked? Repeatedly? Such an amazing coincidence! I mean, if I didn't know how reliable and amazingly trustworthy our media is, I might think it was intentional....

Remember how when the Tea Party started RINO’s got involved and then suddenly Tea Partiers were persona non grata? As I recall the Oath Keepers didn’t start out with any intended violence - infiltrators come in and start problems. One thing you can say about the left - they form things right from the beginning with the intent to start trouble, no one needs to infiltrate them!

While news organizations usually refuse to disclose sources, it appears that the names ended up in the hands of an advocacy group. Is there a law enforcement organization interested in investigating if the was a crime?

Here's the crux of what being an oath keeper means: you believe that your oath to protect and defend to constitution from enemies, foreign and domestic, did not end when your enlistment, term of office or employment ended.

This is a big deal because the Left is using this as a reason to purge these officials from office. It just happened to an office holder in New Mexico where a judge has barred one from ever holding office or being an elector under some interpretation of the 14th Amendment.
