Top Gun star Tom Cruise is flying high. He returned a drop of magic to the woke, toxic waters of Hollyweird with his insta-success Top Gun sequel. Long on entertainment value and short on pandering to increasingly irate bases, it was simply a great film with call-back messaging. Pro-America, pro-fun, and anti-crusading. Now, Cruise returns to the big screen, as it were, to hype up his next film production, this time the 7th installment of the Mission: Impossible series. Cruise has long been known to do his own stunts – more on that in a moment – but this one truly takes your breath away.

Never even saw Top Gun original. Not a fan of macho movies or jingo ism or holywierd in gen. Have seen TGMaverick twice in the theaters. Never done that before. Both times saw it at a cinema pub. Best way to see such a movie, IMHO. Highly recommended.

#2 - You are 100% correct. The first 3 minutes were superb. Then, the "acting" began. Where does Jon Hamm go to get his reputation back?

Pretty cool. He's a nut, on his foolish "religion", but has developed a lot of skills as a race driver, pilot and stuntman that are impressive. But, I think that #1 makes an excellent point. One should do well in this life, but make sure to be in the right place with God for the next one.

Say what you want about Cruise, but I’ll predict right now his next movie will be a giant hit too. This little old grandma loved Maverick Top Gun. It made me proud to be an American.

I was not impressed with Top Gun Maverick either #2. My 30 year career in the USA and USAF left looking at all the "Hollywood" inaccuracies left me "Meh" with the film.

As shocking as it is unsurprising, an Australian bank chain is providing a terrifying glimpse into the dystopian future that awaits everyone who still believes man-made climate change is worse than chains. In an August press release, Bank Australia made the stunning announcement that it would cease lending to prospective new car owners in 2025 if the vehicle of their choosing relied on tried-and-true combustion. Instead, new car owners would only be able to procure a new car loan if there are expensive lithium batteries propelling the wheels.

Chris Wallace, the long-forgotten sufferer of narcissism and TDS, can’t be too pleased with his fading legacy at Fox News. His old stomping grounds, the studio at Fox News Sunday, has named Shannon Bream as his permanent replacement, all but ensuring his total erasure. Bream is the complete package and in her first show will cement the clueless Wallace as completely obsolete. Gorgeous, talented, insightful, and unlike Wallace, someone who puts America first. She has a no-nonsense approach that seeks truth above ideology, something Wallace also lost the ability to do long ago.

By definition, anyone hired based on their diversity and intersectional identities will not be the best. Merit and diversity are anathema to one another. Joe Biden selected Kamala Harris for his Vice President for the singular reason that she checked off boxes for being a black woman. Ditto for Ketanji Brown-Jackson and double ditto for Jen Psaki’s replacement Karine Jean-Pierre. This isn’t a difficult concept, but all leftists lack self-awareness, introspection, and the ability to assimilate new information with their rigid dogma. That leaves us with someone so utterly bad at her job that it’s astonishing she is able to wake up in the morning.

In a dramatic editing from the War Room, Bannon drops one truth bomb after another on Covid, the vaccines, his own trial, and the entire J6 narrative.

The United States of America almost lost its democracy on January 6th when such a breach occurred. Unlawful entry and trespassing have since been a hallmark of politically-motivated prosecutions to jail would-be insurrectionists and send a message that the Regime will not tolerate dissent. Even when that dissent is fomented and orchestrated by the same regime.

For conservatives, backing the blue comes has come naturally. We inherently believe in good and evil, which trickles down into striving for a just society that centers around law and order. Police aren’t perfect, but their flaws outweigh the indecency inflicted upon the rest of us by the scum of the earth. For this reason, watching the George Floyd Riots wreak untold havoc and carnage across our nation induced a visceral response of horror and anger. How could the police stand by? How could they kneel with anarchists? Everything we knew to be true about good and evil, law and order was ignored and recklessly discouraged.

Bill Barr, who served as attorney general during the Trump administration, said Wednesday that the Justice Department appears to be “getting very close” to having sufficient evidence to indict former president Trump. Law enforcement is investigating former president Donald Trump for removal or destruction of records, obstruction of an investigation, and violating the Espionage Act, according to the search warrant for Trump’s residence at Mar-a-Lago. Barr said during an appearance on Fox News that government investigators must consider if they have a technical case against Trump and said, “I think they’re getting very close to that point, frankly.” He added that the DOJ must weigh what the potential fallout

California officials say it will cost $14 billion to upgrade aging wastewater facilities that are dumping nutrients from treated human sewage into San Francisco Bay, which are feeding a giant algae bloom that has lingered for more than two months and killed tens of thousands of fish. The algae bloom, which appeared in late July, has grown to an immense size because of the tons of nutrients from urine and feces of the eight million Bay Area residents that is released into the waters daily—one plant alone dumps 85 million gallons a day that contains 5.5 tons of nitrogen. Scientists say the bloom was triggered by climate change,

NEWNAN, Ga. — Georgia Democrats have grown increasingly pessimistic about Stacey Abrams’s chances of ousting Gov. Republicans in the House are preparing to roll out their midterm agenda, which they hope will give voters a reason to vote for them and not just against Democrats. The brainchild of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, the “Commitment to America” will have four parts dealing with the economy, security, education/health care, and government accountability. McCarthy’s office has indicated the Commitment to America will debut in Pittsburgh on September 19. It’s loosely based on the “Contract with American” concept created for the 1994 midterm election that was credited with helping the GOP take over both the House and Senate.

Americans fervently believe in equal justice for all, not just under law but within public institutions such as the media as well, polls have shown. And yet, one recent poll leads to a disturbing conclusion: That America is increasingly turning into a two-tiered system of justice based on politics and beliefs. The Golden/TIPP Poll (TIPP is also Issues & Insights’ polling partner) asked 1,310 voters online this summer the following question: “Generally speaking, do you agree or disagree with the statement: “There is a two-tiered system of justice in America depending on your political affiliation and ideology?” The results of the poll,
