It’s getting harder and harder not to abandon faith in the institutions we once regarded as respectable and relied on to keep the country moving. It is harder still to avoid rejecting unequivocally what has become their core governing premises, which seem to be entirely different from what we once believed them to be.
So here goes: the entire “climate crisis” is an opportunistic hoax; the entire “equity” (along with “diversity” and “inclusion”) movement is a corrupt fraud. This hoax and this fraud have permeated and overwhelmed every formerly respectable sector of American life, with disastrous consequences we’ve only just begun to feel.

California's statewide teachers union undermined White House talking points that redirect blame to Republicans for COVID-19 school closures that erased two decades of progress on math and reading scores and worsened racial learning gaps.
Public records posted by grassroots group Reopen California Schools show the California Teachers Association (CTA) launched a research effort in spring 2021, in coordination with allied parents, to sniff out the "ideological leaning" of funding sources for the Parent Association, which had sued to reopen schools that February.

The school year has just begun but already pro-life college students are being targets of hostility on campus.
On Wednesday, pro-life students at the University of Iowa said an angry student flipped over the College Republicans’ table and attempted to flip over the tables of two other conservative pro-life groups before smashing some of their materials with a bicycle helmet, according to Campus Reform.
Vandalism and violence against pro-life advocates has skyrocketed in recent months in response to the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade. LifeNews has documented more than 165 acts of pro-abortion violence since May.

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher said President Joe Biden’s student loan program will make income inequality worse and the issue is higher education is sold “as a golden ticket to be in the upper middle class, but they’re not really getting any education.” He also argued that “education is to Democrats what tax cuts are to Republicans, they think it solves everything.”

Republicans on the House Foreign Affairs Committee have released their report on the U.S. military's final, problematic withdrawal last summer from Afghanistan that concludes no senior Biden administration officials have been "held accountable" for the "tragic" departure and warns the county has again become a safe haven for terrorists.
"The choices made in the corridors of power in D.C. led to tragic yet avoidable outcomes: 13 dead service members, American lives still at great risk, increased threats to our homeland security, tarnished standing abroad for years to come, and emboldened enemies across the globe," read the 115-page interim report titled “‘A Strategic Failure’: Assessing the Administration’s Afghanistan Withdrawal.”

Last week, journalists and media personalities rightfully cheered the news that brutal terrorist Ayman al-Zawahiri had been killed in a CIA drone strike. The networks used patriotic language and praised the efficiently executed attack. View co-host Joy Behar even compared Joe Biden to action hero Liam Neeson in Taken.

For the second press briefing in a row, the White House took a beating from the press due to President Joe Biden’s personal physician hiding from hungry reporters’ questions on the state of Biden’s COVID treatment, recovery, and overall health. You know it's bad when reporters from CBS News, The New York Times, and NewsMax all grilled the White House COVID-19 response coordinator Ashish Jha on the administration’s lack of transparency.

The alleged comic who's perhaps most well-known for calling first daughter Ivanka Trump a "feckless c***" will need to find a new gig after Warner Bros. Discovery — also the new parent company of CNN — cut her late-night show.
Bee's show Full Frontal has been airing on TBS since its launch in 2016. Even though the Full Frontal page on the network's website says "new episodes return September 1," a representative told Variety that Bee's show "will not return to the network in the fall."

In the wake of the 2020 election, many questions arose about the power of the vice president of the United States during the counting of the electoral votes. The 12th Amendment provides that, in the counting of electoral votes, the president of the Senate (the vice president) shall “in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted.” The clause is ambiguous; clearly, the vice president is tasked with opening the certificates (the electoral votes certified by the states).

Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 kangaroo court is gearing up for another prime-time show, this one on Thursday. But first, here’s breaking news about a dangerous insurrectionist who has been sentenced by Judge Royce Lamberth in Washington DC for her dastardly role in subverting our democracy. Thank heavens, our country is safe — for the next 60 days, at least — now that this 69-year-old grandmother, self-described “citizen journalist,” retired substance abuse counselor and breast cancer patient, Pam Hemphill from Idaho, is confined to a California prison. She’ll have three years of probation after that.

Many RedState readers will recall our exclusive series covering the bullying and harassment Kamdin Hernandez, a 4th grader in Simi Valley, California was subjected to by teachers and school administrators because he was unable to wear a face mask fully over-the-nose throughout the school day. Due to Kamdin’s attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), wearing a face mask so distracted him that he was unable to concentrate on his school work, yet teachers and administrators berated him in front of classmates, physically blocked him from entering the door into the school, locked him out of his classroom, physically pulled the mask up over his nose against his wishes, and more.

Crosby, Stills & Nash have ended the protest they began against Spotify five months ago over the streaming service’s deal with podcast king Joe Rogan.
The aging harmony rockers’ music returned to Spotify July 2, according to Billboard. They had pulled their catalog in solidarity with erstwhile member Neil Young, who was upset at Rogan’s penchant for interviewing guests with different points of view on COVID.
