On Labor Day, Judge Aileen Cannon granted President Trump’s request for a Special Master review of the material confiscated by the Biden DOJ during their raid on his home at Mar-a-Lago. (Tweet) More… Judge Cannon also ‘temporarily enjoins’ or forbid the Biden regime from ‘reviewing and using the seized materials’ pending the completion of the review. The judge is giving the parties until September 9th to submit a joint filing that includes special master candidates. Here is a copy of Judge Cannon’s ruling: page 23 – Conclusion

First: enjoining the biden regime from further investigation of the illicitly seized materials is too late. They can just continue investigating THEIR copies of same. Second: the regime can say that for them to obey any MASTER, special or not, is RAYCISS.

FBI, armed with what amounted to a "Writ of Assistance" (a Royal order which enabled "fishing" for whatever could be found and partly inspired the 4th Amendment) tossed Mar-A-Lago like any other common crack house. Common practice in third-world countries, this is the FIRST time for such blatant, politicized police powers to be used against a former President of the United States. For those who cheer it all on because of their undying Trump-Hatred... congratulations. You're in grand support of actions which describe Trump's "shitholes".

A sound decision, well-written and explained. In light of DOJ's previous use of the fabricated Steele dossier before the FISA Court, after the Special Master is appointed, the Petitioner (Trump) should petition that the master preserve the current state of the evidence by photocopy and computerized pagination. Preserving the evidence is common, making it impossible to introduce documents into evidence that cannot be compared with the original record. Challenging the authenticity of documents is usually done by a motion in limine before trial, but can also be raised by objection during trial. The judge will have the preserved record on a laptop on the bench, expediting rulings on such objections.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had a clap ready Tuesday after Texas Sen. Ted Cruz invited her to visit the southern border after her comment last week that migrants weren't 'walking' into the country. Jean-Pierre, a former national spokeswoman for MoveOn, said she had already been to the border – then slammed Cruz by tying him to Trump Administration immigration policies. 'So I've been to the border, I went in 2018. I stood outside facilities where the Trump administration was separating families, tearing babies out of their mother's arms,' she said.

The surveillance camera picture of her in her Lululemon jogging gear on her last early morning run prompted the familiar warnings

Tuesday marks the penultimate primary election night in the 2022 midterm cycle as voters in Massachusetts cast their votes to settle each party's field and finalize the showdown that will be November's general election. Unlike many of the other primaries that have already taken place this cycle, Massachusetts elections are tallied and reported by the individual cities and towns rather than at a larger jurisdiction or the statewide level. While the live results below will be updated throughout the evening, Massachusetts' unstandardized means of reporting vote totals means that some areas won't report or even start counting ballots on the day of the primary with final totals trickling in

EAGLE, Colorado — There is something going on here in Colorado politics that is not much different than what happened in Virginia exactly one year ago: a shift away from the status quo and the odds-on favorite Democrat toward his Republican challenger. Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., is seeking a second full term against Republican challenger Joe O’Dea. And the question, in a state where people tend to dislike both parties but increasingly favor Democrats, is whether O’Dea is independent enough to earn their vote. Democrats viewed O’Dea as enough of a threat that they dropped $10 million into the Republican primary to manipulate voters into backing his “stop-the-steal” primary rival.

Donald Trump's former attorney general kept up his criticism of the ex-president on Tuesday, saying the evidence against him was clear and that it was plain 'wrong' for a judge to appoint a special master to review documents seized at Mar-a-Lago. A day earlier, a federal judge in Florida gave Trump a win by agreeing to his request for a special master, slowing the pace of the investigation. But Bill Barr blasted the decision and said it would likely be overturned if the government appealed. 'The opinion, I think was wrong, and I think the government should appeal,' he told Fox News.

In President Joe Biden’s 2007 memoir, Promises to Keep: On Life and Politics, he wrote that the late Sen. Mike Mansfield (D-Mont.) gave him the best advice he ever received: “Joe, never attack another man’s motive, because you don’t know his motive.” Judging from Biden’s increasingly belligerent speeches, he has forgotten Mansfield’s eminently wise counsel. This was rendered abundantly clear during his Thursday speech at Independence Hall in Philadelphia. Standing before a backdrop that looked as if it had been designed by Leni Riefenstahl, he attacked the motives of half the electorate.
