Judge GRANTS Trump's request

A federal judge in Florida has granted Donald Trump's request to have a special master review the documents seized during the raid on Mar-a-Lago – granting a key demand of the former president and tapping the breaks on the government's investigation. Judge Aileen Cannon approved Trump's motion to appoint a special master 'to review the seized property for personal items and documents and potentially privileged material subject to claims of attorney client and/or executive privilege.' [Snip] That grants Trump and his legal team a side benefit of stalling the fast-moving proceedings that have unfolded since the August 8 FBI search of Mar-a-Lago.

So the judge chooses the special master from lists submitted by each litigant. This judge has been reasonable - - - so far. She better do a very deep vetting of the choices she has. Too much scum lurking in the legal profession.

While I'm happy for Trump, I think that the ongoing focus on MAL, including breathless update involving minutia and government leaks is a fairly clever democrat/media strategy to rope-a-dope conservatives at the expense of retaking the Legislative Branch this year.

How about appointing Hillary Clinton, as she knows all about misusing classified documents and how to get away with doing that. Is there any doubt that Hillary Clinton would not give Trump a fair shake?

Trump is many things, loud, in your face, direct, but he is not the problem. The problem is the deep state, the incestuous bureaucracy, the propagandist media, and the corrupt, self-important, self-entitled political class, all of whom are exposing themselves in their incessant attacks on Trump. Again, Trump is not the real problem here.

The federal attorney injected a slur about cocaine dealing by DJT, by using the analogy of the drug dealer's demand. Tomorrow's headline in some newspapers may be, TRUMP DEAL COCAINE WHILE IN THE WHITE HOUSE? Then when Peter Doocey asks the dimwitted Haitian Homosexual press secretary about the headline, she will say that the DOJ attorney never said that.

Legal Insurrection led the way on coverage of the Gibson’s Bakery v. Meghan Markle publicly stepped out with Prince Harry, Prince William and Kate Middleton on Saturday to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II. The four were photographed viewing a massive sea of floral tributes laid outside Windsor Castle in honor of the late monarch. The outing marked the first time the two couples have all appeared in public together since Commonwealth Day on March 9, an appearance that was marked by awkward greetings and grim faces. We’re told it was William who extended the invite to his estranged brother and wife.[Snip]Earlier in the day, other royal family members gathered

After years of legal wrangling, Oberlin College has announced that, following the Ohio Supreme Court’s decision not to hear its appeal, it is beginning the process of paying in full the judgment against it for libeling Gibson’s Bakery and promoting a boycott. William A. OBERLIN - The crowd milling around outside Gibson’s Bakery at midday Wednesday wasn’t there to protest. It was there to spend, spend, spend in hopes of keeping the 137-year-old business alive. “We didn’t want people to think we were demonstrating or rallying or anything like that,” said Mike Bokulich, a Navy veteran and founding member of the Lunch Bunch. In the past two years, the group has traveled to more than 90 restaurants around Lorain County and just outside its borders.[Snip]“We want to help Allyn and his mother. They’re slaving up there in the bakery…sweating like mad, trying to keep the business afloat,” Bokulich said.

Oberlin College was shocked when it found out the Catholic-run health agency it chose to outsource for student health services is…Catholic. It’s always Oberlin College. Why is it always Oberlin College!? The Catholic Church urges natural family planning (which, after the experience, is relatively easy!) instead of artificial birth control. That includes birth control pills and tubal ligation (tying the fallopian tubes to stop ovulation).(Snip)...I find it impossible for people not to know the Church’s teaching on abortion, artificial birth control, sex, pregnancy, and gender.(Snip)NPR and Oberlin College ruin their argument by including the “workaround” portion in the article.

I found it telling over the past week since I wrote in this space last Sunday about Oberlin College bringing on a Catholic agency to run its Student Health Services(Snip) that Oberlin College’s only public response, to this paper, was to issue a statement claiming its actions had been “inaccurately characterized” in recent media reports.(Snip)The Chronicle requested a copy of any contract with Bon Secours that would outline whether the provider, which has long practiced under Catholic healthcare directives, had promised to provide contraception and gender-affirming care. It may be time to pass on gas. The more than 40 million households in the US who use a gas stove might want to consider an alternative. New findings have shown that gas stoves — even when turned off — may cause asthma in children and put adults at risk of cancer. Dr. Jonathan Levy, an environmental health professor at Boston University, claimed the stoves may pollute the air with nitrogen dioxide, which can cause lung damage. The pollutant, a “byproduct of fuel combustion,” is also the same that is produced on major highways, but since the kitchen is an enclosed space, it puts inhabitants at more risk.
