A Kansas middle school teacher won a massive settlement against her former employer in a case surrounding preferred pronoun use and amidst a larger cultural battle in which radical gender theory continues to creep into modern life.Teacher Pamela Ricard was awarded $95,000, thanks to the support of the liberty advocacy legal group Alliance Defending Freedom. They rightly defended Ricard’s right to freely exercise her faith and express her own viewpoints after she was suspended for three days last March by using only the student’s enrolled name.CORRECTIONS*

I think people who insist on being addressed in a certain way that goes against what is normally acceptable may have mental issues. After all who can remember all the weird identities people come up with. I think that the people who deny what sex they are have a psychiatric disorder or medical condition. Are we expected to (share) in their delusions? If someone hears voices. Do we pretend to hear the same voices?

If you are not using the default pronouns, the only way you can reasonably expect people to use the ones of your choice is to wear a sign/label/tag with the pronouns on it.

$95,000 isn’t that much. Unless the legal group who took her case worked completely pro bono a lot of her award will go to court costs. But losing money seems to be the only way liberals learn. Well, sometimes.

Refusing to use any such pronouns should never need to be justified in any degree by asserting any faith and/or religion whatsoever because freedom of speech belongs to everyone, including atheists.

I was appalled to hear that a very small county did this, and then looked it up. Geary County has Junction City, which is right next to Fort Riley, a huge US Army base. I am sure that east or west coasties moved in by some association with the Army did this....take over the school board "and show these hopeless hicks how things are done in the big city". Kansas had a state legislator from Manhattan, KS propose an "assault weapon ban" back in the early 90s. It turns out that the legislator was recently moved from the NY island of Manhattan and was appalled at how backward us poor fools were out here in Kansas in permitting just any old adult to buy whatever gun we wanted. She was going to "improve" the state by making it more wonderful, like her Manhattan. I, and many others, testified against the bill in subcommittee and the bill was defeated. She wasn't re-elected and moved back to the island of Manhattan, I'm guessing she was still appalled at our "backwards" ways out here in Free America.

By definition, anyone hired based on their diversity and intersectional identities will not be the best. Merit and diversity are anathema to one another. Joe Biden selected Kamala Harris for his Vice President for the singular reason that she checked off boxes for being a black woman. Ditto for Ketanji Brown-Jackson and double ditto for Jen Psaki’s replacement Karine Jean-Pierre. This isn’t a difficult concept, but all leftists lack self-awareness, introspection, and the ability to assimilate new information with their rigid dogma. That leaves us with someone so utterly bad at her job that it’s astonishing she is able to wake up in the morning.

The United States of America almost lost its democracy on January 6th when such a breach occurred. Unlawful entry and trespassing have since been a hallmark of politically-motivated prosecutions to jail would-be insurrectionists and send a message that the Regime will not tolerate dissent. For conservatives, backing the blue comes has come naturally. We inherently believe in good and evil, which trickles down into striving for a just society that centers around law and order. Police aren’t perfect, but their flaws outweigh the indecency inflicted upon the rest of us by the scum of the earth. For this reason, watching the George Floyd Riots wreak untold havoc and carnage across our nation induced a visceral response of horror and anger. How could the police stand by? How could they kneel with anarchists? Everything we knew to be true about good and evil, law and order was ignored and recklessly discouraged.

One of the biggest stories in national media right now has been, in one form or another, about how a ten-year-old-girl was raped, got impreganted, and due to her residency in the state of Ohio was forced to travel to Indiana for an abortion. The story took off after Joe Biden referenced it in the immediate aftermath of leftist outrage over Roe’s overturning at the Supreme Court. Mind you, aboprtion was not made illegal with that ruling; it was simply returned to the states to decide on a course of action. After all, nothing in the Constitution lays out a legal framework for federalizing infanticide.

In a much-needed blow to both medical fascism and disinformation, a Luxembourg cyclist crushed the competition to win the mountainous 9th stage at the 2022 Tour de France despite having tested positive for Covid the day before. Most media outlets are running away from this story, because it shatters their harmful pre-/mis-conceptions about the man-made, lab-leaked virus. For starters, the fact that testing positive didn’t prevent someone from going out and riding their bike vigorously for several hours shows that a positive test is ultimately meaningless. You tested positive? You allegedly have Covid? So what? Life goes on.
