Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot slammed Gov. Greg Abbott after buses of migrants from the southern border state of Texas pulled into the Illinois city late Wednesday. "As a city, we are doing everything we can to ensure these immigrants and their families can receive shelter, food, and most importantly protection," a spokesperson for Lightfoot, a Democrat, said in a statement issued Wednesday evening. Which race is she talking about? From what I can see they are coming from all over the world. That race card is being played on every trick. Sick of it. It is he party that caused the need to settle the illegals other places than Texas.

According to Lightfoot, Gov. Abbott is without humanity because he is sending "migrants" to Chicago. So it's inhumane to be sent to live in Chicago? Is this Lightfoot's way of saying she agrees with Darren Bailey, the Republican candidate for Illinois governor, that Chicago is a hellhole?

I LOVE what Gov. Abbott is doing. The DUMBOCRATS were planning on allowing all these illegals to infest the southwest, while virtue signalling about what humanitarians they are. Greg Abbott turned the tables on them. Now they have to prove what great humanitarians they are by taking care of the people that they pretend to care about. Republicans are slandered constantly in this country. But when they fight back, they win.

I'm with Mayor Beetlejuice on this one. Sending human beings, be they migrants, or whoever, to Chicago is cruel and unusual punishment. I may have to rethink my plans to vote for Gov. Abbott this fall. Okay. I re-thunk them. Still voting for Abbott.

The big city leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrat big city mayors should tell Biden and his crew to effectively enforce the borderline and remove all illegal aliens back to where they came from. If Biden did that the border State governors would have no illegal aliens to bus to the big Democrat run cities. What is occurring on the borderline is all on Biden and the Democrats and the American people know that. Those big city Democrat mayors do not want the illegal aliens removed as they consider the illegal aliens coming to their cities to be future socialist Democrat supporters and voters. What those Democrat mayors really want is for Biden and the DC Congressional Democrats to send them more than enough federal dollars to defray all the the expenses that the illegal aliens will cost those Democrat mayors and those Democrat cities for social service and welfare benefits and services. In that respect it is reported that New York City is paying up to $700.00 a night to house illegal aliens in first class hotels, so how long will the big Democrat run cities be able to do that without Biden and the Congressional Democrats sending them huge amounts of federal dollars?

I'm sure it's not lost on the good citizens of the Windy City that their windbag mayor is so concerned to make sure these (illegal aliens) "immigrants" (in her words) will get food, medical care and SAFETY.

Just ship them downstate, mayor. It will help turn the rest of the state blue. You know you really want all the illegals you can get. Just not in your backyard. Crying 'racism' is a mindless claim anymore. So easy to do.

Listening to Lightfoot and Hochul, I find myself wishing that they would lead a civil war against Normal Americans. Since that isn't going to happen, every red state government should strongly encourage and provide assistance to their illegal population to "migrate" to NYC, DC, Chicago, Minneapolis, Portland, Seattle, SF, and LA. They can replace the normal Americans fleeing those cities.

So, lemme see if I got this straight: If you don’t want “sanctuary” cities to let illegal aliens in, that’s “racist”. But if you ship a couple of busloads of illegal aliens to a “sanctuary” city, then you’re a racist. Oh, okay.

Biden may not have faced explicit primary threats, but a handful of younger Democrats whose profile was rising seemed to be holding themselves out as more passionate, forceful leaders for the party, as governors like Gavin Newsom of California and J.B. Whenever political leaders lose all political capital due to their misgovernance and have no real issues to base their campaign on, they often resort to focusing on the symbolic — usually referring to "the soul of the nation." This happened before in the U.S., it happened in India, it happened in the U.K. and it happened again in the U.S. This is most typical of the left. Instead of being humble and conceding their mistakes, they attack voters for thinking of voting against them while overlooking the myriad catastrophes they presided over. They often blame their opponents for what they are guilty of — bigotry, violence — and then end with the "soul" plea.
