Fed gov’t to suspend free at-home COVID-19
tests program Sept. 2

The Biden administration is suspending an online program that provides at-home COVID-19 tests for free, citing a lack of funding from Congress. “Ordering through this program will be suspended on Friday, September 2 because Congress hasn’t provided additional funding to replenish the nation’s stockpile of tests,” it says on the program’s website, https://www.covid.gov/tests. President Biden launched the initiative in January after the administration appeared unprepared to provide enough testing amid the omicron wave that hit over the holidays. Under the program, the U.S. Postal Service ships batches of tests to Americans’ doorsteps at no cost. The administration said it wants to preserve supply in case

Comments:

Sixteen unreliable fear tests made available to each household "at no cost" to anyone but the taxpayers. But the Chinese testmakers made out like bandits, and connected people no doubt took their cuts.

I got all mine and I think I have about 12 left. Last month the covid went through the place where I work and felled about 6 of us. I had to wear a mask for 5 days and I used several of the tests to see if I had covid. I didn't. I think I am immune.

Never had a test, never got a kit, nevet cared to have one. What's the point? If I get sick, with what seems like the virus, I'LL be treating it, docs generally don't treat it. I have a lung specialist who has prescribed me the drugs needed, and who will consult if that's not working. But not a chance that I would go to a hospital and get poisoned.

B.S. Translation, people don't want to be bothered. They know if they had it or not. It's just more government intrusion. They want to find out if you had the initial vaccination which is not a vaccination at all. Odd, isn't it, that all the people who got vaxed and booster shots are the ones that are having covid now! Now let's blame this moron program on Congress or Trump.

The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on Monday sued Idaho-based data broker Kochava for selling geolocation data from hundreds of millions of mobile devices that could be used to track consumers.(Snip)In the suit, FTC alleges the company allows people to customize their data feed to filter for mobile devices at specific times and locations. Chanting slogans such as “Hands off our children!” and “Stop the parade of shame!” Belgrade residents rallied in support of traditional family values and against LGBT indoctrination. The protest also received support from the Serbian Orthodox Church, which has voiced opposition to the gay pride event taking place in Belgrade. Many of America’s biggest hospitals are looking to raise prices by as much as 15%, far exceeding already-soaring inflation rates. The Trump administration issued a hospital price-transparency rule in 2019 to help families fight such hikes and find high-value care—yet the Biden team isn’t enforcing this long-overdue policy. Millions of families will soon be stuck with bigger bills when they should be empowered to drive health-care prices down. That’s the conclusion of a new Foundation for Government Accountability report. We analyzed how more than 6,400 hospitals have complied with the Trump rule, which went into effect January 2021.(Snip)So it’s concerning that barely

Black residents in New York filed a lawsuit Monday arguing that the city’s attempt to allow noncitizens to vote in municipal elections is unconstitutional because it was a “racially motivated” move to siphon political power from Black residents to other racial or ethnic minorities. The lawsuit, filed by the Public Interest Legal Foundation on behalf of four residents, said city council members who wrote the law last year made explicit racial appeals, saying they wanted to change “the color of the skin” of people who were voting in elections. And that hurts Black voters in particular, because the new noncitizen voters will be heavily Hispanic and Asian, and are expected
