t’s only a day since we reported on California’s intention to outlaw sales of new combustion-engined vehicles from 2035, and already the ripples are being felt across the nation.
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) that governs motor vehicle emissions for the state adopted new rules that will require 35% of the new cars sold in the state are electric or plug-in hybrids by 2026, with that percentage rising to 68% by 2030 and 100% by 2035.
California has a waiver from the federal government to set its own air quality rules, and other states are allowed to opt into its regulations, which are typically more stringent than the national standards.

The account pointed out that Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, for example, had $183,504 in PPP loans forgiven. This after Greene appeared on television saying, "for our government just to say OK, your debt is completely forgiven ... it's completely unfair."
They fail to realize that it's normal to take a loan but the loan has to be returned!

President Biden announced Wednesday that he will cancel $10,000 of federal student loan debt for certain borrowers making less than $125,000 per year, and up to $20,000 for Pell Grant recipients, while extending the pause on federal student loan payments through the end of the year.
"In keeping with my campaign promise, my Administration is announcing a plan to give working and middle class families breathing room as they prepare to resume federal student loan payments in January 2023," Biden tweeted.
Biden is expected to give remarks on the plan Wednesday afternoon.

A Multnomah County Grand Jury has indicted security guard Logan Gimbel for fatally shooting a man in a North Portland parking lot in May.

This is exactly, exactly, exactly my issue! What about people who put money away for their kids’ college?? My friends took out a home equity line of credit to pay for their kid’s college. Do they get THEIR loan forgiven? They’re punishing ppl for doing the right thing. This clip should be running nonstop, not just to prevent student loan debt forgiveness but through the mid-terms and till Election Day 2024 to remind people what the democrats really think of the hard working responsible middle-class Americans that do the right things every day.
