As Democrats nationally campaign on abortion access following the Supreme Court's June ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade, a red-state Democrat is bucking the trend.
Democrat Mark Haugen, who is challenging Rep. Kelly Armstrong (R-ND) for North Dakota’s at-large congressional district, is running a campaign focused on key issues for the state: the 2023 farm bill and improving access to healthcare for rural residents. But it is his position on abortion that is drawing attention, as it sets him apart from most other candidates in his party this cycle.
“I never hid my pro-life beliefs,” Haugen told the Washington Examiner in

Right, she will run as anti abortion but if elected will vote the way the Democrat leftist leadership tells her to vote. Don't fall for it.

Abortion is an important issue but we differ from Dems on damn near every other issue as well. Why vote for half a slice when you can have the whole loaf of bread?

Senator Bob Casey, Pennsylvania, won his seat by claiming to be solidly anti-abortion, just like his dad, the late Governor Robert Casey.
Casey defeated Rick Santorum, a true pro-life Catholic, and has voted as a Catholic baby killer ever since.

The Democrats have been marching lockstep ever since Obama became president. That is over 15 years! There are no indicators this will change anytime soon. A Democrats against abortion. He must be lying otherwise the Democrats won't support him.
The democrats are working overtime to get attention off the economy. Top issues for them are things like Climate Change, abortion, gun control, social justice, black rights, gay rights, and womyn's rights. It got them 70 million votes in 2020. They hope it helps them in 2022 and 2024. Anything but the economy!

Never, ever, believe it when a democrat runs on being bipartisan, being their own man, being moderate or having views that differ from the DNC. Because once elected, they almost always vote in lockstep with Pelosi, Schumer etc. They may hold out for a while, but eventually cave. Exhibit A: Manchin. They will definitely fold if they want something. I'll trade you my abortion vote for a new public library with my name on it.
These people "may" be honest and true to their words, but honor, honesty and integrity have a one vote shelf life in Washington DC. Everyone is in on the grift.

If you trust a democrat to back conservative issues, you are living in cloud coo coo land. The two "middle of the road", democrats who we trusted to stop the inflationary spending crush showed their true colors at last. Kiss my posterior and I will vote for your bill and shake hands with the president responsible for crushing our economy at the bill signing ceremony.

All promises not valid after election day and once the Democrat has crossed the Beltway.

Anti-abortion is good but the goal of building new, unprofitable medical facilities is what has caused the price of healthcare to increase to astronomical heights for everybody. When you choose to live in a rural area you should realize that many of the conveniences of the big city are harder to find. To me it's worth it but having your cake and eating it too should not be an expectation. If I want to see an opera or a concert it's a two-hour drive. If I want a good dinner, I cook it at home. That's fine with me.

A right to p abortion is not a federal issue says the US Supreme Court. So why would voters cast ballots at the federal level for or against candidates pushing for or against abortion? Those anti or pro abortion issues will be worked out at the State level and if voters are strongly for or against abortion they should vote for State level candidates accordingly.

This is how Democrats roll, they will allow such a candidate to run and will help them in other areas too.
Yet, that person will also vote 99% of the time with the very liberal and Progressive Democrat leadership.
The lesson, you need some of these candidates in areas that aren't quite as conservative as other areas, in order to win a Majority which enables you to rule, investigate, etc..
