Homeless Take Over the Suburbs

Homelessness and crime are taking over woke, left-wing cities thanks to radical policies and defund the police agendas. States such as California and New York have seen a spike in "For Sale" signs as a massive number of people are fleeing to red states for a better way of life. One city in particular, however, is driving families out faster than others due to its rampant homeless crisis.

Who’s buying? No one, hopefully. It’s doubtful that Portland liberals learned anything and will just take their foolishness and promote it wherever they end up that isn’t spoiled by wokeness yet.

And yet, the blithering idiots of this city continue to elect politicians who are intentionally ruining a once beautiful and safe place to live! As Ben Franklin stated; “you elect the politicians that you deserve”!

Perhaps the pendulum can swing the other way. Perhaps not. Once decay sets in, it almost never will get better, Detroit being one of the first examples.

Resident's thought it was cute when their motto was 'Keep Portland Weird!' I guess too much weird isn't good. It's now a filthy mess & anarchy reigns. Only one way to fix it, declare Marshall Law call in the National Guard, round up all the homeless, put them in an old airfield or military base. When antifa shows up arrest them immediately. unfortunately, the voters there can't add 2+2=4. Liberal D'Rat + Commie D'Rat = Hellhole

Democrat cities should burn to the ground. Take no prisoners. Democrats must suffer the consequences of their evil. Allow no escapees They shouldn't be allowed to flee the scene of their crimes and pollute other places with their evil ideology.

A creeping infection. Probably created by BlackRock folks so that they can buy up the homes, and then rent them back. Remember, "You will own NOTHING, and you will be happy." BlackRock has formed a multibillion dollar real estate group to buy up single family homes, get them OFF of the market and control them. If they get their way, you won't be able to own a home because the WEF folks will own them, and will ONLY rent space to you. And if your "social credit score" says that you complained about something....your lease is cancelled, and you get to live under the overpass.

I was so glad to get the news last month that my son and DiL sold their home in Portland and moved out of that cesspool of iniquity and crime. 30 years ago, Portland was a great place to visit and a destination for many out of state tourists on their way to our coast. But now, thanks to liberal democrats, Portland is truly becoming the SF of Oregon. #1, I suspect out of state Cali residents are the ones buying. They have lots of money, and are buying the state up as we speak. Probably why we are turning into SF/LA north.

To those who blame the voters, Oregon was the first state in the nation to have statewide vote by mail back in 1986. Democrats count the votes in Portland, and they pretty much decide who gets to win. It is no wonder Pelosi wants national vote by mail folks. She knows that the system is built for fraud and cheating favoring democrats. Oregon hasn't had a republican governor since 1986 thanks to the cheating. We are a mostly red state, but we lack the population that tri-county Portland and Eugene Springfield have. Two little blue puddles of blue in a sea of red.

Something weird is going on with vaunted Vogue photographer Annie Leibovitz who seems to have lost, or else never had, any ability to properly photograph black people. Here's the harrumphing from the Daily Beast: On Tuesday, famed photographer Annie Leibovitz sneak-peeked photos from what Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour called a “historic portrait” for the mag’s famed September issue, released just before the Supreme Court’s new term begins in October. Jackson made history in April when she was confirmed as the first Black woman on the nation’s highest court.

I have been reading with horror Julie Kelley’s day-to-day description of the treatment afforded some 850 people arrested in D.C. for conduct on January 6 and the awful legal representation and judicial treatment they have received. Many have been held in horrible prison conditions for over a year, denied bail and an opportunity to have their cases heard outside this venue where the jurors will never grant them a fair trial. None of the big law firms in town which puff up their public service donating time -- for example, to defend Guantanamo Bay detainees -- have to my knowledge volunteered to help these people.

It's a move that House Republicans should consider when they regain the majority in November, but will they do it? In the aftermath of the unlawful August 8 raid on Mar-a-Lago, the Republican Party has been united in its revulsion of what appears to be an unprecedented ransacking of a former president’s home. The legal justification doesn’t pass constitutional muster. There seems to be no crime committed, only that the National Archives grew impatient over record retrieval. That’s not a crime; people dragging their feet regarding government documents is quite common in DC.

Wow! Talk about an inflated sense of his own authority. Barr exerted only minimal influence over the DOJ when he was in charge. Does he really believe they care what he thinks now?

Possibly even more hilariously, Warren argued that she could have beaten then-President Donald Trump in the general election. Media coverage of the Mar-a-Lago raid has not been entirely illuminating, melding together as it does without distinction the four components of the search warrant process. The four components are: 1. Petition 2. Affidavit 3. Warrant 4. Return The petition is the Department of Justice’s application asking that the court issue a search warrant. In the petition, the DOJ (a) argues to the court that the affidavit shows there is probable cause to believe that evidence of criminal activity can be found on the target premises and (b) specifies the nature of that evidence (documents, firearms, automotive parts, etc. whatever). The affidavit is a sworn statement attached to the petition attesting to the essential fact

It is helpful to think of political developments as moves on the chessboard made to advance an objective. In chess, the objective is to win the game, chess being zero-sum. Politics is like that, too, though participants often claim it's not, that they're acting for the greater good, principles at the foundation of democracy, motherhood and apple pie and all that — which is true in some cases but never if Democrats are in the game. This brings me to Attorney General Garland's claim that the Mar-a-Lago home invasion wasn't a raid at all.

The year 1865 marked the end of slavery. It was an inflection point in history. Until 1800, institutional slavery had always been the norm, unquestioned for thousands of years. Male and female, free and slave, these were almost universally accepted as being the major bifurcations of people. After the Civil War, tyrants often interrupted the decline of slavery, but 1865 marked the inflection point, the inevitability of its demise.

Republican Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa told Fox News on Friday that Mitch McConnell’s glum warning about the GOP’s Senate prospects in the midterms were an effort “to wake people up.” The Kentucky Republican Senator had said on Thursday, “I think there’s probably a greater likelihood the House flips than the Senate.
