Why Christians need to evaluate secular

Years ago, I read a book by J.P. Moreland called, “Love Your God with All Your Mind.” It was written by an evangelical to fellow evangelicals, arguing that we were not doing a very good job of thinking biblically. I have to conclude that he was right, and I join in his call for fellow evangelicals to do the part of the Great Commandment that we may have been neglecting: loving God not just with our hearts and souls but also with our minds.

Catholics need to start with a walk through the Baltimore Catechism and then find a parish and priest with a worldview. Walk into your typical suburuban mega non denominational church and see what passes for Christianity and feel good spirituaity these days. We will shrink back into catecombs soon enough

Yes, this is a worthwhile article. It observes that marxism views private property as the original sin, and that salvation can be achieved through the abolishment of private property by force. That critical race theory holds that being born white equates to guilt- is original sin i suppose. I don’t know what percentage of the proponents of these assertions actually understand the what the fundamental assertion is, and of those what proportion believes it to be true and what proportion sees it as a wonderful smoke screen behind which to commit acts of rape and plunder. Christians have a particular duty to understand today’s political theories and to eschew those which are wolves in sheep’s clothing.

I always remember a minister stating there are over 20000 religions in the world. Is it any wonder? Somebody takes a religion, modifies it to support their world views, and viola, a new religion is founded that is an offshoot of an older religion. Some people want a religion that supports Marxism or CRT. Another is a religion to support abortion. We have all seen recent articles about how Jesus would support abortion. This is how religions get started. Don't ever confuse religion with God. There are over 20000 religions, but there is only one God, and God has only ONE worldview.

ANTICOMMUNISM WAS inherent in Catholic teaching, in the classroom, from the pulpit, at mass, Daily rosary was ( and in some cases still is) concderned not only about the poor souls, but the conversion of communism. Fatima used to be something all Catholics knew and understood. Rerum Novarum written in 1885 addressed the errors of socialism in its infancy and centissimus annos, written by JPII, reitererated in the inherent errors of communism and its erroneous ( satanic) influences on misguided teachings coming form Vatican II. The " all religions suck, I can get by myself" is exactly the intellectually lazy response that embeds itself in the otherwise educated mentality of individuals who need to get back to God. Reducing your environmetal foot print will not achieve salvation. Nor will wearing a mask, nor standing silent while a one world government that does not believe in God or the inherent equality and goodness of all those created in HIs image.

It may seem strange to call a system of belief without God a “religion.” Their religions are not without a God. They all share an irrational, faith-based belief in the same god -- government.

Arizona lawmakers heard from True the Vote last week, amid a lengthy and detailed investigation into possible fraud in the 2020 election. Catherine Engelbrecht, founder of True the Vote, and her associate Gregg Phillips presented their findings to eight Republican lawmakers in a live-streamed meeting at the Arizona state Capitol. The group used GPS data to identify cell phones they say were repeatedly in close proximity to ballot drop boxes and also made repeated visits to nonprofit organizations that True the Vote claims could be involved in illegal ballot collection activities.

The primary function of any school is to focus on the academic growth of students. This is where it starts and where it should end. Marxist-Liberal Democrats have taken control of public schools and teach children lies about their bodies and their rights — to children as young as kindergarten. Having been given over to their reprobate mind, Marxist-Liberal Democrats have schemed a well-orchestrated plan to further their degenerate thinking by pushing conversations about transgenderism upon five-year-old children.  CORRECTION*

As we deal with the aftermath of the tragic school shooting in Texas, we also face predictable and insensitively timed cries for gun control. I’ve always been surprised and bothered that Conservatives don’t respond with their own policy suggestions. In the face of such wickedness, when our laws seem to fail at deterring crime, we must ask what needs to change and return to the source of our principles: God’s justice. How does God command we deal with murderers? The death penalty is actually the second command God gives humanity in the Bible.  CORRECTION*

The Katie Britt campaign for Senate announced on Wednesday that Britt will not be participating in any of the planned debates ahead of the Republican primary runoff for U.S. Senate. Her opponent, Congressman Mo Brooks (R-AL05), accused Britt of hypocritically flip-flopping on her previous debate pledge...Mike Durant, who at one time was the leader in the polls in this race, also refused to debate and was denounced by Britt for his decision. Now Durant is out, and Britt is the frontrunner and has adopted the same anti-debate stance.

The child's current condition and the severity of the case is unknown. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warns that children under the age of eight are among the most vulnerable to severe complications or death from monkeypox.
