Brittney Griner's National Anthem Stance
Mocked After Her Nine-Year Russian Prison Sentence

Original Article

“I honestly feel we should not play the national anthem during our season,” WNBA superstar Brittney Griner said in a 2020 interview with the Arizona Republic. “I think we should take that much of a stand.” Griner is now serving nine years in a Russian penal colony for drug possession. One might now ask what kind of a “stand” was Griner wanting to take? More importantly, what kind of “stand” should we take regarding a pro athlete who enjoyed her oppression in America so much that she became fabulously wealthy and had the freedom to marry a female spouse — something that she might be arrested for in Russia?

Comments:

After being attacked on stage by a tranny activist, Dave Chappelle said he started paying attention to chicks in the first row with Adam's apples. Seeing the Rooskies escort Brittney away to wherever, I noticed that Brittney has a more prominent Adam's apple than I have. She makes Lauren Bacall sound like Minnie Ripperton. If this America hater stays in Mother Russia, that's an acceptable outcome. And isn't "WNBA superstar" an oxymoron?

She’s finally free of the national anthem and all it stands for. Her priority of “i want dope no matter where i go” has spun out to its logical conclusion. Maybe schmoe can give putin some nukes in exchange for her and a donation to beau’s trust.

The tattooed girl with the bad haircut should be happy now no American National Anthem where she's going. The Russian anthem might appeal to her in the gulag. Freedom like no other country in the world to become a millionaire while complaining about oppression of your race that's pretty darn nice but 'tattoo girl' threw it all away for some dope. That doesn't sound too intelligent to me she should have educated herself about foreign travels when leaving the good old USofA.

#9's comment reminded me of Silence of the Lambs. You might recall that a television was installed in front of Hannibal Lecter's cell, the channel set to PTL Club (or something like that) because, as Dr. Lecter said, his jailer "likes his petty torments." If the Russians want to make Brittney even sicker, a steady diet of "Star Spangled Banner" might set off inmate gag reflexes and get rid of some of that bad Russian borscht, or stone soup. Endless punishment ought be the province of the Lord Himself, though. Boy, did Brittney ever mess up!

I suggest that our National Anthem be interspersed with God Bless America and America the Beautiful (including all of the verses and sung by Kate Smith) running on a loop 24/7 for the next 9 years. At the end, at least Brittney will know all of the words by the time she gets out.

I suppose its OK to assume that no one criticizing Griner has watched pro football or basketball over the past 4-5 years and have no plans to do so in 2022. As far as her appearance, I doubt she was born a man. Female athletes who are sought after by schools, colleges, and semi-pro teams due to their athletic skills, seldom have hourglass figures. I see the WNBA as semi-pro, since most players cannot make a living solely on their player contracts, presumably the reason Griner was in Russia during the WNBA off season. There are exceptions but Griner is by no means considered a freak in the world of female sports. I'm no fan of hers, or the WNBA but I just prefer to limit my ugly comments to leftist politicians, as their actions affect the daily lives of normal Americans. Sports figures not so much.

But it’s also happening to midterm candidates in an outrageous fashion. President Biden’s daycare minders in the White House had a project with high degree of difficulty to complete yesterday. They were required to put their heads together and come up with an explanation of Biden’s belief that Congress had enacted the student loan giveaway he promulgated by royal decree. You see, Biden doesn’t know what he is saying or doing. How could his minders explain it? It wasn’t easy. Someone running the show slipped a note to Jacqui Heinrich of FOX News. Hey, he was thinking of the fraudulently titled Inflation Reduction Act when he referred to his loan giveaway. It could happen to anyone.

Everywhere I go, people are mystified about President Joe Biden's economic agenda. So few of the policies comport with basic common sense that I'm asked the same question over and over: Is Biden intentionally trying to take a wrecking ball to the economy? Is this all part of some diabolical plan, the "great reset," to end our system of free market capitalism and replace it with some form of big government socialism? Biden keeps saying that he wants to be a historic president who will "transition" the country into a new worker's paradise where no one uses fossil fuels or electricity or cars and equality is paramount, ahead of growth and prosperity.

I have to wonder how George Zimmerman felt upon reading about the shooting death of Kansas City firefighter Anthony Santi, 41. Ten years ago, after getting his head pounded into the concrete for a minute or more, Zimmerman famously shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. Although Martin attacked the much smaller Zimmerman without provocation, and eyewitness evidence supported Zimmerman's claims of self-defense, the media and the woke mobs frightened state prosecutors into charging Zimmerman with second-degree murder and ruining his life. Santi's shooter, by contrast, faces no consequences whatsoever, not even a review before a grand jury. According to the Kansas City Star, Jackson County prosecutor Jean Peters Baker,

President Biden premised his cancelation or forgiveness of student loans of up to $20,000 per person on “the financial harms of the pandemic.” However, a Wall Street Journal editorial duly noted that “the government had halted student loan payments since 2020, holding borrowers harmless. A month before he declared the pandemic ‘over,’ Biden extended that student loan pause through Dec. 31.” Biden’s “plan,” as he calls it, is blatantly unconstitutional. It’s not unfair to say that everything about it is wrong. The only question is whether any party has legal standing to challenge it. Indeed, Biden has altered the “plan” since the original announcement to exacerbate the standing issue for possible challengers.

But the current “trans” mania is an exception to that principle. Why have liberals gone crazy over an issue–or, perhaps, a fad–that was unknown a few years ago? Over a segment of the population that barely exists? I can’t explain it. Around the country, doctors and hospitals are performing sex-change operations on minors. Vanderbilt was doing this until a video emerged of a staffer saying how lucrative such operations are. But sex change operations on minors continue. To name just one example,
