UK retailer Tesco accused of racism for
burglar-proofing dark-skinned makeup

Original Article

A British supermarket chain is under fire for locking up a makeup product for dark-skinned shoppers while the same line for lighter-skinned women was left without any security measures. Natalie Westgate, a local mother of three, wandered into a Tesco location in West London last week and noticed the disparate security while browsing a shelf lined with Garnier SkinActive BB Cream products. Westgate posted a photo showing the products that are traditionally marketed to minorities being encased in what appeared to be theft-proof containers. Westgate tweeted: “@tesco can you please explain this? Do white people not steal then? Absolutely disgusting and not to mention racist!!!!”

Comments:

Wherever they go, there they are. And wherever they are, White people stand ready to grovel in apology after trying to make accommodations for their natural behaviors.

Tesco should just say the secure shelving is to keep white people from stealing the dark-skinned makeup. That nobody wants the light-skinned stuff enough to steal it.

Tesco should have replied that the product was locked up because of the frequency it is stolen not because of the color of people who are stealing it.

So this complete moron apparently doesn't realize that Tesco (and many others, I might add) actively use security cameras in their establishments. Tesco management are aware of which "customers" are doing what.

Physical stores, when they will exist at all, will have shelf space with non-removable fake examples of products so shoppers can examine their choice if necessary, but only enter a code on a ‘shopping pad’ device. It enters your product choice and your order is packed and ready for you as soon as it’s paid for in checkout line. Viva la future.

#7 is probably right. You can see it now in some stores in the Dem-run big cities. They have bullet resistant glass between the clerk and customer. The customer orders, say, a couple of packs of cigarettes, pays first, then gets his purchase slipped to him around the glass. In the future, there may not be a clerk to be seen. You will place an order, pay with credit (or more likely EBT) card and once approved, your order tumbles out a chute like a vending machine.

What tends to disappear in numbers disproportionate to sales gets locked away. In this case, it happens to be makeup for dark skins. Coincidence? We know who has sticky fingers. So do the stores. This was done quite a while ago at stores like Target and major drugstore chains.

In South Africa about 15 years ago, I needed to buy some car wax with a polishing compound. I found a small "auto store" in the parking lot of a shopping mall. And when I went in.....no products at all visible. Empty shelves and a counter with most of the store square footage behind the counter, not accessible to the customers. I was a bit confused, and the clerk asked if he could help me. I told him what I was looking for and he brought up several different kinds to examine an select from. I got my wax and went on. Clearly shoplifting was way out of control, so they dealt with it. I'll never forget a black guy hanging around outside with a HUGE "Afro" hairdo, and an equally huge bright pink furry hat on over the 'fro'. The hat had to be literally 18+ inches across, one of those sort of puffed up kind with a small bill in front that Brits seemed to wear in the 1920s, except huge, furry and pink. OK, that sort of pimp style sense wasn't just in the USA. I just looked it up....the kind is called an "Eight piece hat"....eight segments sown together. The guy really looked ridiculous in that huge pink furry hat.

Our local Walmart must had had a big loss on liquor because a lot of it is now behind lock and key. And good luck finding someone to bring the key. We don't have that many blacks around so it must be the whites taking it.

On Monday evening, the FBI took the unprecedented step of raiding the home of former President Donald Trump. What were they looking for? Astonishingly, what is being leaked to the media is that they were after documents that possibly violated the Presidential Records Act. Far from their promises of proving some grand conspiracy involving January 6th, it appears the Democrats, using the power of the nation’s federal law enforcement apparatus, are trying to take Donald Trump out with selective enforcement of provisions that are normally handled in a civil, not criminal manner. Where have we seen that before? None of this is a coincidence, and none of it is justified.
