A growing number of Democrats in Wyoming may be registering as Republicans in order to back Representative Liz Cheney in the state's upcoming primary, data suggests.
Cheney, the state's sole representative in the House, has been urging Democrats to switch parties to vote for her in the August 16 primary as she faces a tough re-election battle, with polling showing her trailing behind challenger Harriet Hageman, who has been endorsed by Donald Trump. (snip) However, because there are more than five times as many registered Republicans as there are Democrats in Wyoming, King predicts it won't make a difference unless the race is very close—within about 5,000 votes or so.

So if she wins she’ll have to support both party’s programs.

Ya need to be about 20% ahead to make sure of a GOP win. Dems can CHEAT at LEAST that much.

Mad Liz is a turncoat, a modern day Benedict Arnold. Where is the GOP? Censure her immediately or be complicit in the attempt to rig an election.

I’m thinking even if she wins the primary somehow, her goose is cooked in the General.
But it might be fun, IF she does win, that she her new committee assignment would be on the Janitorial Committee.
OTH, not sure if Kevin (where are my brain and balls?) McCarthy would do the right thing.
(He’s another useless UniPartier.)

Why not? If you, a Liberal, can call yourself Republican, why can't all the rest?
How about some intellectual integrity, Lizzie? Instead of getting Dems to switch to Republican, why don't you admit you're Democrat?

Newsweek? No credible reporting there.
How many Democrats are there in Wyoming, and is their number enough to make a difference?

I have a dear friend who lives in Wyoming. In a place where you can't get there from here. She's a California refugee. She moved there seven years ago to get away from the crazy politics. LOL. Jokes on her! The Marxists are hell-bent on destroying every corner of America. She can't believe even Wyoming as become the epicenter of lamestream media attention. She's definitely MAGA and voting Hageman.

There is. a nationwide trend of Dems switching to GOP because they realize that Dems HATE THEM. Dems especially despise the working class, blue collar, union worker types that once were the core of the Democrat Party. It's hard to tell how many are switching to the GOP to spoil the Republican Primary and how many are changing to support the GOP... but it's definitely both.

If RINO Liz "wins" the primary, I'll support the democrat in the general. Might as well - Liz is no republican, anyway.

This type of thing would be much harder to do if eligible voters were set based on the cut-off date when candidates have to register for office.
Any changes, or additions, after such date would be provisional in both the primary and election date.
This would apply to everyone, and should be discouraged.
