FBI Director Christopher Wray was on the hot seat Thursday before the Senate Judiciary Committee on a variety of issues. (snip) Then when the senators started to call him out on it, what was his response? Sorry, guys, I can’t stick around, I have to catch a plane. Yes, he seriously said that to Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA).
That astonished Grassley, who nailed him with a little reality, saying but you have “your own plane.”
This guy is just as crooked, slimey and compromised as Comey. He needs to go, in fact the whole FBI needs to go and somehow replaced with people other than these political hacks. I hope Nov. will see in a new hope for this country, because if not, we are doomed to the likes of Biden and his ilk.

just two weeks ago Wray had Trumps Whitehouse council, arrested at the airline boarding gate, handcuffed and leg shackled for "Not making enough time to answer congressional questioners"...even though his office is directly across the street from the FBI building, and they could have "Asked" him to come over anytime, or simply served a summons anytime.

My list of lawless arrogant smart mouth elites is growing but this guy is definitely in the top ten of persons I want to see taken down. I thought Comey was a smarmy weasel, but this guy is giving him a run for his money. It is this kind of arrogance that has permeated the FBI and other agencies to the point they are toxic little fiefdoms that reinforce this mindset. These guys believe they are above the law. It’s time for the MAGA Great Reset to begin and set these guys straight.

Wray is in great need to be Binch slapped, the prosecuted for the treasonous way he's led the FBI.

Many of us here agree that DJT was badly served by staff when it came to screening potential appointees, and that if he serves a second term, he has to appoint an HRM to gain a foothold on a process to yield good appointments.
There are lots of examples of bad employee selection, including the NSC, where K.T. McFarland hired the fat Ukranian Lt.Col. and the british coal miner's daughter, the soviet trained Fiona Hill. And McFarland hired Hill right out of a Soros organization.
Even in considering all of the bad hires elsewhere, selecting Wray to head the FBI was absolutely insane.

If a Republican tried this crap he would have his front door kicked in at 0500 hrs or drug off an airplane in shackles. I spit on the FBI.

He and his entire agency are so compromised they are beyond redemption. They should all be fired down to the janitor, their databases erased and the entire agency replaced with...nothing. Whatever good they may do or have done is more than offset by the damage they have done to confidence in our institutions and freedom itself. Their former employees should be banned from any law enforcement or government job forever.
We are to the point that you are safer in the company of a crook than a cop.

How dare this smarmy little worm tell a US Senate Committee he’s ‘got a plane to catch’. The FBI has gone completely rogue and are out of control. Congressional oversight has to mean something or it is a meaningless phrase. The American people want this fixed. And now.

"I have a plane to catch" this very statement sums up the uselessness of the FBI. Wray just admitted the FBI serves no purpose but to harass citizens not on their approval list meaning all of Trump supporters. The FBI should be abolished they serve no purpose in law enforcement not for me anyway. Throw the ATF, EPA and a few others into the waste basket of useless.

Disband the FBI. Fire everyone there. Confiscate their weapons and credentials, and throw them into a blast furnace. Tear down their headquarters, and pour salt on the ground so that nothing ever grows there.
After that, we can have a serious discussion about what kind of law enforcement we need at the federal level.

RE #13, IIRC, the FBI was an investigative bureaucracy with no police powers, no guns, no badges, no power to arrest anyone for quite a while before the "motor bandit" era of the 1920s and 30s where bank robbers rapidly crossed state and county lines in times of poor communications technology, was used to leverage the FBI into a law enforcement agency with guns and badges.
IF (BIG IF) there is some sort of a need found for a federal investigative agency - then let's go back to purely investigative where their only work product is a report, a recommendation, given to a STATE police agency to do something if they see a need, based on this information.
NO federal cops.

While Wray and his 3 to 4 armed FBI stooges, aka agents, will only fly on a government jet, taxpayers are paying for federal Air Marshals to fly on commercial flights to prevent possible hijackings. Wouldn’t it be better for the citizens that Wray and his security detail took oaths to protect to fly commercial in order to actually protect us?
When Wray lands at the private jet terminal, he is met by more agents and big SUVs parked next to his plane plus local police escorts. Just like the rest of us. No TSA, no lines, no delays/cancellations, no illegals.

Wray was appointed by PDT, and confirmed by the Senate - with zero Republican opposition. Ironically, consider this:
"The good work of the FBI has been overshadowed recently by controversies, but I hope this confirmation turns the page and begins a new, shining chapter for our nation's leading law enforcement agency."
That was uttered by Sen. Grassley.
Of course, Wray was clean as the driven snow then, right?

I can't even watch Hollywood movies if they portray the FBI as the country's first line of defense.

I'm afraid, #6, there's not a lot to choose from when hiring in D.C.

Hannity says 99+ percent of FBI personnel are good guys. This may be true. Ask Sean to request the rest of the 99 percent come forward and blow the whistle on the tiny group of bad guys. Sounds like Grassley found a handful, where are the rest?
