Republican Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers lost his bid for a state Senate seat after refusing then-President Donald Trump´s pleas to help overturn the 2020 election results and testifying before Congress about the efforts. Bowers tried to move to the state Senate because of term limits. He lost to former state Senator David Farnsworth, who criticized him for refusing to help Trump or go along with a contentious 2021 'audit' that Republican leaders in the Senate commissioned.

Note: "Bowers tried to move to the state Senate because of term limits." He lost running in a new, larger district that was apparently highly Republican (conservative), likely highly Trumpista. No tears there - especially as he appears to have been part of the six-state GOPe cabal that brought us President Joseph R. Biden.

The Evil Origins of Our Bad Biden Era 9 replies

The present poor decisions in every sector of our society's life — economics, foreign policy, education, citizenship values, human sexuality, and ethics — suggests a conscious effort to undermine longstanding institutional and social realities of American civilization. This writer's view is that this is being brought about by a premeditated and conscious alliance between the Democrat party and the far left, which had begun under President Barack Obama and has intensified under President Joe Biden. This intensification is the result of a landmark alliance between the far left and the Democrats taken in 2020, combined with the continuity of advisory personnel from the eight Obama years.

FBI director Christopher Wray testified he found it “deeply troubling” when he read recent whistleblower allegations that bureau agents had falsely labeled accurate information about Hunter Biden as disinformation during the FBI’s investigation in 2020. Whistleblower allegations emerged last month that FBI supervisory intelligence agent Brian Auten opened an assessment in August 2020, which was used by FBI headquarters to label accurate information about President Joe Biden’s son as false, according to disclosures made public by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA),

Democrats love taxes. The never-ending promise that they won’t raise taxes almost always leads to more taxes. So why should we believe the Inflation Reduction Act won’t lead to a hideous tax burden on the American people? Well, we shouldn’t. Vice President Kamala Harris has been slammed online as a hypocrite after she condemned Russian officials for sentencing basketball star Brittney Griner to nine years in prison for drug smuggling. The WNBA star was found guilty on Thursday by a judge who rejected her claim she accidentally brought a marijuana pen into the country. Prosecutors had asked that she be jailed for nine-and-a-half years, six months less than the maximum of 10 years in prison. Her attorneys say they have ten days to appeal the verdict and sentencing, and that the typical sentence handed down for such a crime is six years.

When WNBA star Brittney Griner was convicted on drug charges Thursday, she was not merely sentenced to nine years in a normal jail or prison. She was given time in a Russian penal colony, which is quite different than a normal correctional facility. Russia's penal colonies are descendants of the notorious Soviet-era gulags where prisoners have been subjected to harsh treatment and poor conditions. Prisoners in the system have been beaten by other inmates, endured torture and forced to watch Russian propaganda for hours every day in what's known as "awareness raising."
